LANSING, MI — The largest Mega Millions jackpot of 2025 is on the line Tuesday night as the estimated grand prize is worth $547 million.
The cash option for tonight’s drawing is worth $251.7 million. The current jackpot is the 12th largest in Mega Millions history.
MLive will be providing live results of tonight’s drawing as it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.
The last time a Mega Millions player won the jackpot was on June 27 when a player in Virginia won a $348 million jackpot. It’s been a relatively uneventful year for Mega Millions jackpot as only four jackpots have been claimed in 2025.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; the Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 24. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290 million.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $5 each.

The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed a $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel.
And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
