
WILLIAMSPORT — A federal judge made it clear when he denied with two minor exceptions the appeal of a Montour County man jurors found was using his scientific research business as a front to make fentanyl and its variants.
Anthony D. Bressi is guilty and his motion is largely without merit, U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann wrote Tuesday.
Bressi, 53, of Danville, had sought a judgment of acquittal or alternatively a new trial.
