The plot of Soodhu Kavvum 2 centres on a kidnapping group that follows its own set of guidelines. Following the plot of Guru, who seeks retribution against the state Finance Minister Arumai, the film picks off where the first part left off.
Guru kidnaps Arumai because he believes he is to blame for the death of his beloved. However, when two odd detectives begin looking into the case, things become more complicated. Every move matters in this exciting game of cat and mouse that is the movie.
