TALLAHASSEE — A woman recently claimed a $6.25 million Florida Lotto jackpot from the Oct. 25 drawing at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Lottery officials said Robin Glover, 41, opted for a one-time lump-sum payment of $3,529,535.42.
They said Glover purchased the winning ticket at the Publix at 3900 East Bay Drive in Holmes Beach.
“Since its inception in 1988, Florida Lotto has awarded more than $11 billion in prizes, created 1,105 millionaires, and generated over $8.58 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund,” the Florida Lottery said in a news release.
The next Florida Lotto drawing is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:15 p.m. ET, with an estimated $1.75 million jackpot.
Drawings are broadcast on 15 stations statewide. Winning numbers are also available on the Florida Lottery’s website and mobile app, and at authorized retailers.
