$5M scratch-off sold in Germantown tops Maryland Lottery wins for the week – WBFF

A lucky Maryland Lottery player in Germantown is celebrating a life-changing win after purchasing a scratch-off ticket worth $5 million, the state’s biggest lottery prize last week.
The Germantown ticket topped the Maryland Lottery’s weekly leaderboard, edging out a $770,000 Multi-Match jackpot sold in Silver Spring and a FAST PLAY prize of $125,985 won in Annapolis.
Across all games, Maryland Lottery players claimed nearly $34.4 million in prizes during the week of November 3–9, including 33 tickets worth $10,000 or more, according to the Lottery.

Officials are reminding winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and store them in a safe place.
