Jason Norton of Dallas tried his luck on a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.
Norton bought his lucky Black Titanium ticket from Edgewood Mini Mart on Edgewood Road in Bessemer City.
He arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,758.
The Black Titanium game debuted in June of 2023 with six $4 million top prizes and 16 $100,000 prizes. Two $4 million prizes and four $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
