A big prize is going to one lucky Iowan.
A Mega Millions ticket bought at a Kwik Star at 1200 Chatham Ave. in Norwalk is now worth $3 million, according to the Iowa Lottery. The ticket matched the first five winning numbers from Tuesday’s drawing (10-13-40-42-46) but missed the Mega Ball.
The prize money can be claimed at the Iowa Lottery main office in Clive.
The winner will join a growing list of Iowans to claim prizes of $1 million or more in lottery games.
Without a jackpot winner, the Mega Millions pot continues to climb and will now stand at an estimated $965 million for Friday’s drawing.
