The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for more than four months and Nebraska Lottery officials remind customers to set spending limits.
A string of drawings without a jackpot winner has grown the estimated Mega Millions jackpot to nearly a billion dollars.
There have been 39 consecutive drawings since July 1 without a jackpot winner and the run has grown the estimated jackpot for the Friday drawing to $965 million or $445.3 million with the cash option.
