Two Bay Area residents won more than half a million dollars each playing the Powerball Lottery Saturday night, officials said.
The two winning tickets, which selected five correct numbers, were each worth $609,497, according to the California Lottery.
The first ticket was sold at the Rotten Robbie at 1655 Foxworthy Avenue in San Jose.
The second winning ticket was purchased at One Stop Liquor & Food at 5206 Pacheco Boulevard in Pacheco.
Neither location could be reached for comment Sunday morning.
The winning numbers were 6, 7, 12, 47, 53. Neither ticket had the winning Powerball number of 21.
