TQ Wuling Bingo details revealed ahead of Q4 launch – up to 410 km range – AutoBuzz.my

Preliminary details of the TQ Wuling Bingo electric vehicle (EV) have been revealed ahead of its scheduled launch in Q4 this year. While full specifications are yet to be disclosed, the brief specifications on the company’s website give us an early glimpse of what to expect when the car arrives in our market soon.
The TQ Wuling Bingo EV measures at 3,950 mm long, 1,708 mm wide, and 1,580 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm, making it smaller than the Proton eMAS 5 (stylised as e.MAS 5) and closer in size to the Perodua Axia. TQ Wuling will be offering the compact hatch in three colours: Neon blue, Lavender Purple, and Milky White — all with a black roof for a dual-tone effect.
Inside, the TQ Wuling Bingo EV comes equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays — one for the digital instrument cluster and another for the touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is finished in perforated faux leather, complemented by “Glossy Ceramic” accents and additional faux leather trim for a more premium feel.
Based on the images on the website, the Bingo EV also features a dual-tone interior, paired with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel wrapped in matching two-tone faux leather. It uses a rotary gear selector on the centre console, and offers 310 litres of boot space, expandable to 710 litres with the rear seats folded TQ Wuling says.

In Malaysia, the TQ Wuling Bingo EV will be offered in two variants: the Pro, equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that delivers 333 km of range (CLTC), and the Max, which uses a larger 37.9 kWh LFP battery for up to 410 km of range (CLTC). While AC charging details have yet to be revealed, both variants support 50 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30–80% recharge in just 35 minutes.
The company hasn’t revealed official power figures yet, but based on the Indonesian model, the car should make 68 hp (50 kW) from a single front-mounted electric motor.
Safety-wise, the TQ Wuling Bingo will be kitted with a Smart Safety System and Keyless Entry with Auto-lock and Unlock features. It comes standard (notably) with six airbags, along with standard assistance systems like Anti-lock Braking, Electronic Stability Control and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
The TQ Wuling Bingo EV is expected to be priced below RM100,000, with plans for local assembly (CKD) at Tan Chong Motor Holdings’ Segambut plant. With the Proton eMAS 5 recently launched with a starting price of RM56,800, it will be interesting to see whether TQ Wuling Bingo can match the price of the Proton eMAS 5 closely, or even undercut it.
