
The Powerball jackpot is nearly at $600 million ahead of its drawing on Wednesday night.
At an estimated $593 million as of Wednesday morning, the jackpot has a cash value of $277.6 million.
This is the game’s largest jackpot since it was at $1.787 billion in September, when two winning tickets sold in Missouri and Texas split the prize.
The drawing for $593 million will be held at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Tickets can be purchased at Massachusetts State Lottery retailers across the state until 9:50 p.m. Tickets cost $2 each to play.
During Monday night’s Powerball drawing, a lottery player in Massachusetts won $50,000 from a ticket they bought at a 7-Eleven shop located at 127 Broadway in Revere.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
