Feeling lucky this Thanksgiving season? You may be sitting on a $1 million Powerball ticket sold in Illinois as part of Monday’s drawing.
According to the Illinois Lottery website, one Powerball ticket from the Monday, Nov. 24 game matched five numbers to score a $1 million prize. The winning numbers, Powerball’s website showed, were 8, 16, 26, 30 and 58.

No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, which was 14, to win the Jackpot. That means the grand prize up for grabs is now at least $681 million, with the next drawing slated for 9:59 p.m. CT Wednesday.
The Illinois Lottery did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s request about where the $1 million ticket was sold.
The ticket also comes as another winning Powerball ticket from 2024 is set to expire in a number of days.
According to a press release, a $200,000 ticket Powerball ticket sold as part of the drawing from Nov. 30, 2024, was purchased at a Citgo gas station in suburban Dolton, at 44 East Sibley Blvd. Seven winning tickets sold in 2025 worth over $100,000 each also remain unclaimed, the Illinois Lottery’s website showed.
