PHOENIX — One lucky person in the West Valley got an early holiday season gift after winning a $368,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot.
The winning ticket in Wednesday’s drawing was sold at a Fry’s Food Store near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road in Laveen, according to the Arizona Lottery.
The ticket matched all five winning numbers: 3, 18, 35, 39 and 41.
The odds of winning the top Fantasy 5 prize are one in about 750,000.
The next drawing will take place on Thursday night and will offer a $50,000 jackpot.
Fantasy 5 is a daily game of chance offered by the Arizona Lottery. Tickets cost $1 and can be purchased at more than 3,000 locations statewide.
This was the second jackpot won by a Valley lottery player this week. On Sunday, a Triple Twist player won $1.47 million after purchasing a ticket at a Safeway in Surprise.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawings to claim their winnings.
