XRP Price Prediction: Ripple Holders Hedge Buying Into PayFi Altcoin Presale Remittix After Experts Hint At 5,000% Returns Cryptopolitan
source

The US Securities and Exchange Commission missed its deadline for a decision on the Canary Litecoin ETF. It left the file untouched while a federal shutdown overshadowed normal review work. New generic listing standards and paused timelines only add to the uncertainty around crypto ETFs awaiting decisions.
People are still looking for the best crypto to buy now despite the noise. DeepSnitch AI keeps showing up in that search. The presale price moved from $0.0151 at launch to $0.01735, almost 15% higher, while the total raised passed $300,000. At this range, many see the rare 800x setup. $500 today could increase to $400,000 if the post-launch run hits right.
Canary Capital’s spot Litecoin ETF reached its initial decision date with no action from the SEC. The silence comes in the middle of a federal government shutdown and follows the agency’s shift to new “generic listing standards” that changed how crypto ETFs progress. Applicants were asked to withdraw older 19b-4 filings, leaving the S-1 registration path as the document that needs approval.
That process now runs head-on into staffing limits. In August, the SEC outlined its shutdown plan, indicating it would not review or approve new financial products. Additionally, it won’t process self-regulatory organization rule changes or accelerate the effectiveness of registration statements if government operations are paused. Practically, that means a growing queue: ETF applicants must wait for normal operations to resume before any S-1 reviews continue.
The result is a pause for the Canary Litecoin ETF and likely a delay for other crypto fund listings queued behind it. With 19b-4 timelines no longer available in the calendar and the S-1 channel constrained during the shutdown, the market is left without clear dates. The status of the Litecoin ETF and other crypto funds remains pending until the agency fully reopens.
DeepSnitch AI will help solve a problem that smaller traders know too well: whales move first because they have access to data first. The project will reduce that lag for retail by pushing high-quality, real-time trading signals before the alpha decays. That matters even more in fast markets, when minutes decide outcomes. It also matters on red days. DeepSnitch AI will keep serving alerts, contract checks, and wallet tracking when charts are ugly, so users aren’t flying blind.
Every cycle, people get hit with rugs and bad contracts. DeepSnitch AI will scan contracts and wallets for risk flags before users click buy, so the obvious traps get caught early. That alone is essential in an altcoin boom, when speed and FOMO often drown out caution.
The presale stats show the massive demand DeepSnitch AI is getting. Price opened at $0.0151 and moved to $0.01735, about a 15% growth from launch. It has also raised more than $310,000 within the same Stage 1 of presale. Early stages tend to be where the biggest multiples are made, and this is still that phase.
There’s also a staking edge at launch. The APR will adjust according to the pool size. Rewards will start unlocking quickly, payouts will flow continuously, and withdrawals will be free during the claiming period. Rewards increase with your share of the pool, so earlier participants enjoy a higher slice before the pool grows.
If DeepSnitch AI delivers a strong listing and catches a sustained run, an 800x move is the kind of target many talk about for early presales. That’s why the $500 to $400,000 discussion keeps coming up. Nothing is guaranteed, but the profile, a bear-ready toolkit, a rug-risk scanner, plus staking puts DeepSnitch AI in the conversation for the best crypto to buy now.
PancakeSwap recorded $749 billion in Q3 trading volume, which is a third straight record quarter and reasserts its place among the most active DEX venues. Over the last week, CAKE gained about 18%, outperforming the general market.
On the technical side, price traded above the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, and sentiment leaned “Greed” on popular fear/greed gauges. Predictions suggest a slight increase in the next month.
PENGU advanced roughly 16% over the last seven days, beating the market and keeping pace with the US-listed peers. Trading stats show 15 green days in the last 30, enough movement to draw short-term traders.
Technicals are near neutral on the 14-day RSI, and medium-term projections point to a potential pullback into year-end, despite the recent lift. Generally, the predicted cooling and the absence of bullish technical indicators are expected to affect its price increase over the next three months, according to analysts.
DeepSnitch AI checks the boxes that matter as the best crypto to buy now. The project is still cheap for anyone looking for an 800x gem, already up nearly 15% from launch, and built around tools that could help crypto users act sooner and safer.
Add staking from day one, and the massive demand it is receiving is justified. If a hot listing meets real demand, the $500 to $400,000 potential doesn’t sound crazy because that’s the 800x energy buyers hunt for. Early allocations are still open, but stages don’t stay cheap. If you’re searching for the best crypto to buy now, this is the moment to look hard at DeepSnitch AI before the next stage.
Many point to early presales with strong utility and hype. DeepSnitch AI stands out due to whale-vs-retail signal tools, a scam-risk scanner, and staking at launch.
If an 800x run happens after listing, then it is possible. Nothing is guaranteed, but this is the kind of setup presale hunters target.
It will push faster signals to people, scan contracts and wallets for risks, stay useful in red markets, and provide staking from day one.

US president Donald Trump’s “meme coin” $TRUMP fell about 8% in five minutes in late September 2025, wiping millions off its value. Users can buy and sell this cryptocurrency, inspired by an internet meme, on the open market.
Shortly before retaking office, Trump had posted on X: “My NEW Official Trump Meme is HERE! It’s time to celebrate everything we stand for: WINNING!” Below the post was a drawing of Trump with the words “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT” – an allusion to his assassination attempt.
Soon after that announcement came the creation of the $MELANIA coin, named after the first lady, which also slid on the markets in late September 2025.
There are concerns that these and other crypto businesses the president and his family are involved with are creating an unprecedented ethical minefield – blurring the line between private profit and public office.
The personal profit Trump might receive from these meme coins is unclear. The website gettrumpmemes.com suggests that while the product is endorsed by the president, it has “nothing to do with any political campaign”. The Trump Organization, a holding company for Trump’s business ventures, and Fight Fight Fight LLC own 80% of the coins, it states.
But critics such as Democratic senator Elizabeth Warren worry that Trump could be leveraging the presidency to add to his family’s wealth. Norman Eisen, a former ethics adviser to President Barack Obama, has argued that Trump’s crypto dealings may be “the single worst conflict of interest in the modern history of the presidency”.
One inquiry by the New York Times into Trump’s budding crypto empire contended that it has “erased centuries-old presidential norms, eviscerating the boundary between private enterprise and government policy in a manner without precedent in modern American history”.
Eric Trump on the benefits of bitcoin.
In response to allegations that Trump has profited off interests while in the Oval Office, his assistant press secretary, Anna Kelly, released a statement saying his assets are “in a trust managed by his children”, and that there was not a conflict of interest.
In May, Democratic senator Jeff Merkeley (Oregon) introduced a bill for an end crypto corruption act, which would ban the president and other senior officials from “issuing, endorsing or sponsoring crypto assets”. The bill is pending with mostly Democrat support, so it is unlikely to pass the Republican-controlled House and Senate.
Trump’s forays into crypto are a family affair. His sons Don Jr, Eric and Barron founded World Liberty Financial (WLFI) in September 2024, months before Trump was inaugurated a second time.
The president was originally listed as its “chief crypto advocate”, although his title on the website has since changed to “co-founder emeritus”. The site states this happened when he took office.
Apart from his sons, WLFI includes in the team listed on its website Trump’s chief Middle East envoy and negotiator, Steven Witkoff, and Witkoff’s son Zach.
According to the Trumps, WLFI was founded as “the start of a financial revolution” destined to make crypto more user-friendly. Yet critics say it represents an opportunity for the president to benefit financially, because of his involvement with the firm.
More concerns were raised when its crypto coin, the WLFI token, started trading in September 2025, reaching a high of about 40 cents per coin – hugely expanding the Trump family’s wealth.
Eric Trump also recently founded American Bitcoin. According to a press release, this firm will mine and hoard the world’s most valuable cryptocurrency, bitcoin, as well as capitalise on “opportunistic bitcoin purchases”. Upon its stock debut, estimates were that the Trump sons’ stake in American Bitcoin totalled around US$1.5 billion (£1.12 billion).
Formerly a crypto sceptic, Trump once said he was “not a fan” of bitcoin. Yet just before re-taking office, he declared that he wanted to make the US “the crypto capital of the planet”.
An early sign of Trump’s interest in crypto came when he spoke to a standing-room only crowd at bitcoin’s annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee in July 2024, becoming the first major presidential candidate to do so.
As America’s chief law enforcement officer, Trump helps set and enforce crypto policy — precisely the arena where his family’s businesses now operate. According to one report, the Trump family’s wealth in crypto, at least on paper, has surpassed US$5 billion – a number that now exceeds Trump’s vast real estate portfolio.
The emoluments clauses were created in the US constitution in 1789 to protect presidents from corrupting influences, and prohibit US leaders from accepting gifts from foreign governments. But they are now considered by some to need updating.
This concern isn’t hypothetical. In May 2025, Freight Technologies (Fr8Tech), a Nasdaq-listed firm based in Mexico, announced it would raise as much as US$20 million to purchase $TRUMP meme coins.
Against the backdrop of the US raising tariffs on Mexico, Fr8Tech CEO Javier Selgas said the deal was both economically and politically advantageous, explaining: “We believe that the addition of the Official Trump tokens [is] an effective way to advocate for fair, balanced, and free trade between Mexico and the US.”
By purchasing Trump’s meme coin, a firm such as Fr8Tech can both support the Trump family’s financial interests and hope to gain favourable treatment on trade policy. More concerns were raised when Trump hosted a black-tie dinner at his club in Virginia for the largest $TRUMP holders.
Trump has been the most crypto-friendly president ever. In March, he signed an executive order to create a national bitcoin strategic reserve – a government stockpile of the asset he has framed as a symbol of US dominance in the digital asset space. Moreover, Trump’s AI and crypto czar, David Sacks, has presided over historic pronouncements to improve the regulatory “rules of the road” for cryptocurrencies.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission, an executive branch agency that regulates markets, has moved to being pro-crypto under Trump, casting aside the approach of the Joe Biden era. This has included dropping legal suits against high-profile crypto firms such as Coinbase.
But while the Trump family benefits financially from its rising investment in crypto, this could yet prove a Pyrrhic victory. If Democrats wrest control of the House of Representatives in the 2026 midterms, they could use it to scrutinise the president’s crypto entanglements – and highlight concerns about presidential conflicts of interest.![]()

When it comes to effective Palworld gameplay, breeding is a major factor in the popular RPG's appeal. Once players hit level 19 and unlock the ability to build a Breeding Farm, a whole new facet of Palworld reveals itself, one wherein players can mix and match their various pals to create new, often otherwise elusive Pals.
Palworld’s vast open-world landscape is populated with different element Pals, each with different quirks and skill sets. Because of their unique abilities, developing the ability to strategically pair Pals in the Breeding Farm to optimize both the game’s survival and research management aspects and the power of Pal combatants, plays a crucial role in a player’s Palworld success. While at times it may feel like a grind, Pal breeding and Pal fusion between Pals is one of the most rewarding parts of playing Palworld, presenting a crowd-pleasing blend of in-game research, creativity, and nurturing of Pals that yields powerful, often surprising results.
With breeding and fusion, Palworld smuggles an entire, separate math puzzle game inside its already vast survival monster-catcher, trojan horse style. Understanding the ins and outs of the Breeding algorithm can be a little crunchy, especially for number-adverse players of Palworld, but thankfully there are player-made tools to help run that math, like a breeding calculator, making helpful calculators alongside guides like this one.
The gist of breeding lies in a hidden stat. Each Pal has a hidden stat that determines its rarity or strength, with the lower number indicating a more rare and powerful Pal. When given two potential parents in the Breeding Farm, the game will produce the Pal whose hidden stat number is the closest to the average number of that reproducing generation.
Palworld has been called the “Pokémon Killer,” but it may be at a type disadvantage.
Even though breeding unlocks along with the ability to make a Breeding Farm at level 19, players can set themselves — and their Pal Deck — up for success ahead of time. A major key to Palworld breeding is mixing and matching valuable traits and attributes, so players should spend lots of time in the lead-up to level 19 carefully catching Pals with level 2 or 3 work suitabilities and of all genders. It may take a bit for players to build up a good catalog of strong early-game Pals, but the investment is worth it.
Populating Pal rosters with well-versed Pals, both male and female, allows their offspring to inherit those skills. By filling up the Pal Deck and keeping the Pal Box full of Pals, players will have a fleet of potential parents waiting at the ready, ready to be paired with a complimentary Pal to create the ideal, potent offspring.
Another tactic players can employ before reaching level 19 is to batten down the hatches at their base, putting in prep time to set up their Palworld lair with the necessary breeding accommodations. Since Pals require one slice of cake per egg produced, having a base that can steadily export cake ingredients should be a priority for players.
To yield a cake, players will need a reliable source of milk, honey, berries, wheat flour, and eggs. With that in mind, players should aim to have a well-Pal-staffed Berry Plantation and Wheat Mill, a ranch filled with Mozzarina providing milk and Chikpis laying eggs, a swarm of Beegarde either at the player's ranch or their mercy (Beegarde can use their Worker Bee partner skill to produce honey at the ranch, but they also drop honey when defeated in combat). Being able to depend on having cratefuls of these resources before building a Breeding Farm will make breeding much less of a daunting task to implement into already populated Palworld gameplay.
Once in a blue moon, Palworld players will be fortunate enough to stumble upon rare and glistening Pal variants known as Lucky Pals. These sparkly variants are comparable to Shiny Pokémon, packing a little extra punch than their normal counterparts. Equipped with a whopping 15% boost in attack power and work efficiency, Palworld’s Lucky Pals pass on their stat increases to their next of kin, making them the crème de la crème for breeding in this open-world adventure.
Once snagged, Lucky Pals can be paired with a Pal of the opposite sex, the same as usual, with a visit to the Breeding Farm. Then, as they say, the magic happens. Populating a Breeding Farm with a Lucky parent will proliferate player parties, providing a supercharge to farms and combatants alike.
A Palworld player has faithfully recreated the world of Attack on Titan within the monster-catching survival game being dubbed “Pokémon with guns.”
Palworld's breeding mechanics are mainly useful for setting generations of Pals — and player bases — up for success by proliferating the necessary attributes. While there's definitely merit to experimenting at the Breeding Farm and being open to surprising offspring with random pairs, the best results are yielded with strategic oversight. A player should look at their base's and combatants' needs and determine which Passive Skills are most sorely needed among their Pals. Those needs should be a north star for how players approach breeding in Palworld.
When Pals reproduce, up to four skills are randomly selected and split between both parents to be passed down to their offspring Pal. This means that players will likely have to perform lots of trial and error at the Breeding Farm before yielding their optimal, ideal Pal.
Higher level players should always send Pals with the Legend skill to the Breeding Farm, particularly with non-legendary. The powerful skills and suitabilities of a Legendary parent is an easy hack to help an old favorite Pal who's been hanging around the party forever get a significant power upgrade of +20% to attack and defense, as well as a 15% speed boost.
Before players try to breed Legendary Pals, they should think twice. Except for Frostallion Noct (more on them later), all Legendary Pals can only be obtained in the wild and are impossible to breed unless two of the opposite sex are already tamed. With that being said, once players do, in fact, have two Pals of the opposite sex, they should have them reproduce, which will provide an unprecedented increase to base productivity.
If players are planning to reproduce multiples of the same Pal, be prepared to study up on Pal gender ratios before choosing to breed instead of catching those Pals. Since the creatures of Palworld adhere to the gender binary when it comes to having chemistry in the Breeding Farm, pairing some pals may be more difficult than others due to a lack of one gender's population.
For example, players taking the advice of prepping their bases and ranches for the Breeding Farm will be looking to have dozens of Mozzarina. They should focus on catching those Mozzarina, at least to start, because Mozzarina has a 20/80 male-to-female ratio. Those odds make it close to impossible to find each gender to pair as Palworld deems appropriate. The good news is, once one of each gender is procured, breeding yields male and female Pals at an even 50/50, making for much better odds.
Palworld’s edgy spin on the Pokémon formula has taken the gaming world by storm, so here are some tips to help new players set off on their adventure.
It’s important for any player scouring the web for tips and tricks for Palworld breeding to know that breeding presents their only chance to get a Frostallion Noct to their name. Arguably the rarest Pal that Palworld has to offer, adding the Frostallion Noct to the Pal Deck is no walk in the park. Players need to go to frosty depths, up to the northernmost corners of Palworld’s large open-world map, and visit the Land of Absolute Zero in order to even encounter the original Frostallion variant. Harnessing Frostallion in a Pal Sphere demands serious strategy and gear to armor up against both Frostallion’s icy attacks and the harsh, cold weather conditions
Once caught, players can play matchmaker between the Frostallion and the Hezephyr. While Hezephyr’s no slouch and elusive in their own right, only catchable at night, they are a far easier challenge than Frostallion, and likely already caught or, at the very least, located by the time players meet Frostallion at around level 50. Soon after, a gorgeously rendered black and purple egg will yield the game’s crown jewel Pal, Frostallion Noct.
In addition to Lucky and Legend, there are many other powerful passive skills worth throwing into the mix at the Breeding Farm. If mindfully applied and if carefully looked out for in wild Pals, these passive skills can be key ingredients towards exponentially increasing Pal Power.
Players looking to add some powerful combat-focused genetics to their Palworld melting pot should keep an eye out for Pals either in the wild or in their possession that have the Musclehead (+30% to attack, but a -50% to work speed, so keep Muscleheads off the farm), Ferocious (+20% to attack) and Burly (+20% defense) passive skills. Despite only being categorized as tier two skills, their collective boosts are significant. With enough trial and error, with these passive skills in the mix, players can create the perfect soldier. Also of note are element-specific passive skills, which are recognizable by their Emperor or Lord titles (i.e. Flame Emperor or Lord of Lighting).
Alongside intimidating tower battles and combat encounters, maintaining a streamlined and functional base is one of Palworld's greatest challenges. Incorporating the proper passive skills while picking parent Pals to partner at the Breeding Farm is a crucial aspect of player success.
For players looking for a workaholic on their base, what better than a pal with the Workaholic passive skill? A great example of the cheeky sense of humor that sets Palworld apart, Workaholic is a tier three skill that makes Pal sanity drop at a rate 15% slower than usual, so players can work Pals to the bone. The most powerful boost for worker Pals, though, is easily the Artisan skill, which provides Pals with an unprecedented +50% to work speed. Once players have a Pal with Artisan, it would behoove them to whip up countless cakes and prepare for a long run of cross-breeding that Pal with others so as to proliferate the coveted skill throughout their base.
Fight, farm, build and work alongside mysterious creatures called "Pals" in this completely new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game!

XRP makes cross-border payments fast and affordable, so it serves a much different purpose than Bitcoin, which is primarily a store of value.
Most financial institutions aren't adopting XRP even if they use its developer, Ripple, for payment solutions.
Bitcoin leads the crypto market and has been the more resilient coin, recovering from several bear markets.
10 stocks we like better than XRP ›
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) is the largest cryptocurrency by a wide margin, with a market cap of about $2.3 trillion (as of Sept. 30). And while it has performed well recently, there are other top coins that have been more successful.
Over the last year, XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) has been the best performer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies. It's up 349%, far ahead of Bitcoin's 74% return, and it could go even higher in the near future. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to rule on spot XRP ETFs within the next few weeks.

Is XRP the better investment than Bitcoin at this point? Let's see how they compare to decide which one you should hold in your crypto portfolio.
Bitcoin and XRP are both well-known cryptocurrencies with sizable market caps, but that's where the similarities end. Bitcoin is a digital asset used as a store of value. It derives value from its built-in scarcity — there's a fixed maximum supply of 21 million Bitcoin, after which no more can be mined.
You can use Bitcoin as a payment method, and that's the original purpose. But it's not a particularly efficient payment method, as transactions normally take 10 minutes or longer and cost about $1. During periods of high network activity, transaction fees and processing times can spike. For a brief period in 2024, average Bitcoin transaction fees exceeded $100. Most people look at Bitcoin as an investment to buy and hold nowadays.
That's not the case with XRP. Ripple, the developer, created XRP as a faster way to send and receive funds, specifically for cross-border payments. XRP delivers on that goal, as transactions settle in three to five seconds and cost under $0.01. So, of the two cryptocurrencies, XRP has more utility as a payment method. However, that doesn't necessarily make it the superior investment.
The main reasons to invest in Bitcoin are to diversify your portfolio, as it's the leading digital asset, and to protect against inflation. There's still debate over Bitcoin as an investment, but it's hard to argue with the results so far. It used to be worth pennies, and 15 years later, its price was over $100,000. And while Bitcoin has plummeted several times, it has always rebounded and gone on to new highs.
The case for XRP is that as financial institutions adopt Ripple's payment solutions, it will drive demand for XRP. On RippleNet, a blockchain payments network, XRP provides On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) for banks that need it. Instead of holding foreign currencies in pre-funded accounts, banks can convert their national currency to XRP to send international payments on RippleNet. The recipient can then convert the XRP to their own currency.
On the surface, it makes sense. But most financial institutions that use RippleNet do so without the ODL feature, and they don't buy XRP. Ripple has also been making a push into stablecoins recently. It bought Rail, a stablecoin payments platform, in August. At the end of last year, it launched Ripple USD, its own U.S. dollar stablecoin.
These moves cast doubt on XRP's future, and even though it has done well lately, its performance has been primarily due to the political climate. XRP skyrocketed after the election of Donald Trump, who ushered in a more crypto-friendly regulatory environment. This was especially beneficial for XRP, as issuer Ripple was involved in a lawsuit with the SEC at the time.
I wouldn't recommend that crypto investors forget about Bitcoin. It has the longest track record of success, and for the most part, when the crypto market is doing well, so is Bitcoin. No cryptocurrency is an entirely safe investment, as the entire market is volatile, but Bitcoin has been the most resilient.
XRP has an uncertain future, but it could be successful if Ripple can incorporate it into more payment services or convince more banks to use it for liquidity. You may want to wait and see if XRP adoption increases before deciding whether to invest.
Ultimately, there's no need to choose between these two cryptocurrencies. Many investors hold Bitcoin and XRP in their portfolios. Personally, if I were going this route, I'd allocate more money toward Bitcoin and make XRP a smaller holding. But it all depends on your appetite for risk and how bullish you are on XRP. Remember, crypto should only make up a small portion of a well-diversified portfolio.

Ripple’s XRP is the native token of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) – a blockchain launched in 2012 to facilitate fast, low-cost payments and cross-border transfers. Unlike Bitcoin’s proof-of-work or Ethereum’s energy-intensive proof-of-work (now proof-of-stake) systems, XRPL uses a consensus protocol that supports roughly 1,500 transactions per second and settles in seconds. The total supply is capped at 100 billion XRP, with about 59 billion tokens in circulation and the remainder locked in escrow to release gradually [8].
After years of uncertainty from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit, XRP regained institutional interest in 2024–2025. The July 2023 ruling found that programmatic sales on public exchanges are not securities but institutional sales were unregistered offerings [9]. Both Ripple and the SEC dropped their appeals on 7 August 2025, leaving the 2023 ruling intact and requiring Ripple to pay a US$125 million penalty [10]. This settlement provided rare regulatory clarity for a major cryptocurrency and reopened U.S. exchange listings, clearing the way for potential spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
On 5 October 2025 XRP traded just above the US$3 threshold. Investing.com’s historical price table shows that the token opened at US$2.9690, climbed as high as US$3.0698, hit a low of US$2.9564 and closed at US$3.0276. Trading volume was around 293 million XRP, and the daily change was +1.98 %.
YCharts provides another view, listing XRP price at US$2.97 on 5 Oct 2025 with a 2.36 % day-over-day decline but a remarkable 455 % increase compared with the same date in 2024. The difference between data providers stems from pricing feeds (YCharts uses closing prices from banks and exchanges, whereas Investing.com may use 24-hour closing times), yet both confirm a sharp appreciation from the prior year.
Investing.com’s technical analysis gauge on 5 Oct 2025 rated XRP a “Strong Buy.” The breakdown of key indicators shows:
These indicators collectively suggest that although XRP was not overbought, it was trending upwards with significant volatility. The mid-level RSI and positive MACD indicate the rally could extend, but the high ATR warns traders of large price swings.
Market analysts highlighted the following levels around 5 Oct 2025:
The conclusion of the SEC lawsuit in August 2025 is arguably the most significant driver of XRP’s resurgence. By dismissing their appeals, the SEC and Ripple effectively made Judge Torres’s 2023 summary judgment final, affirming that XRP is not a security when sold on public exchanges [11]. Ripple agreed to pay a US$125 million penalty and received a “bad actor” disqualification waiver, allowing it to continue raising capital. Legal analysts described the settlement as a “complete capitulation” by the SEC and a turning point for crypto regulation.
This clarity reopened U.S. markets and paved the way for spot XRP ETF applications. By early October 2025, seven issuers – including Grayscale, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton and BlackRock – had filed for XRP ETFs, with decisions expected between 18 October and 25 October 2025 [12]. Bloomberg Intelligence estimated a 95 % probability of approval, projecting US$5–8 billion in inflows due to the scarcity of XRP on exchanges [13].
Ripple addressed concerns about XRP’s volatility by launching Ripple USD (RLUSD), a dollar-pegged stablecoin in December 2024. The Motley Fool (via Nasdaq) noted that RLUSD allows clients to conduct cross-border transactions without exposure to XRP’s price swings; transaction fees are still paid in XRP, potentially increasing demand [14]. On 3 October 2025 Ripple minted 1.8 million RLUSD on the XRPL, boosting its market cap to about US$789 million and causing trading volume to surge 75 % [15].
RLUSD is expanding globally:
Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings deepened its partnership with Ripple by launching an institutional XRP lending service. On 2–3 Oct 2025, CoinDesk reported that XRP climbed from US$2.98 to US$3.03 after SBI announced the service and seven ETF applications were under SEC review [20]. The service allows institutions to borrow XRP through structured lending programs, signaling growing use by banks and corporations.
Separately, SBI Ripple Asia teamed with travel agency Tobu Top Tours to build a blockchain payment platform for tourism. The platform will use XRP Ledger-based tokens for lodging, dining and shopping, with NFTs serving as digital souvenirs and membership passes; launch is planned for early 2026 [21]. Regional tokens will be tied to specific destinations to encourage local spending and could be repurposed for disaster relief [22].
In August 2025 Ripple announced it would acquire Rail, a global stablecoin payments platform, for US$200 million. Rail processes about 10 % of global stablecoin transaction flow, and Ripple’s president Monica Long said the deal will integrate Rail’s virtual accounts and automated back-office services to deliver a comprehensive payments solution [23]. The acquisition is expected to close in Q4 2025.
Market sentiment is broadly positive but cautious. On-chain data shows whales accumulating XRP around US$3, reflecting confidence in a continued uptrend. Analysts from CoinCentral noted that Bitcoin’s record highs in late September provided a tailwind and that a strong correlation exists between BTC and XRP prices.
Standard Chartered Bank projects XRP to reach US$5.50 in 2025, US$8.00 in 2026 and US$12.50 in 2028, expecting the token to surpass Ethereum in market capitalization if regulatory clarity and ETFs drive adoption [24]. The bank estimates that spot ETF approval could generate US$4–8 billion in inflows, while listing infrastructure like RLUSD and cross-border settlement will increase utility [25].
Bloomberg Intelligence (via AInvest) assigns a 95 % probability of ETF approval and expects price targets of US$3–5 in a baseline scenario. Its bullish case sees US$4.50–6.19, whereas a conservative scenario warns that delays could cap prices near US$2.50 [26].
The Motley Fool/Nasdaq article adds that U.S. regulators under a new administration reversed previous anti-crypto policies in 2025, rescinding an accounting rule (SAB 121) and indicating a more favourable stance toward crypto ETFs, which could further boost demand [27].
The table reveals that XRP’s price is a tiny fraction of Bitcoin and Ethereum, yet its year-over-year growth outpaced both. Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to act as benchmarks for the crypto market, but XRP’s regulatory clarity and strong institutional narrative give it a unique risk–reward profile.
XRP’s price history has been volatile. After peaking near US$3.84 in January 2018, it fell below US$0.20 during the bear market. The SEC’s lawsuit in December 2020 caused major U.S. exchanges to delist XRP, pushing it below US$0.30 by 2021. The July 2023 ruling sparked a relief rally above US$0.80, but uncertainty persisted until the August 2025 settlement [34].
From late 2024 to October 2025, XRP staged a dramatic recovery. YCharts shows the price climbing from around US$0.54 in late 2024 to US$2.97 on 5 Oct 2025 – a more than 450 % gain. Contributing factors included positive court rulings, expectations of ETFs, the rollout of RLUSD and major partnerships. Nonetheless, the asset experienced sharp corrections, dropping more than 20 % twice during 2025 [35], underscoring its speculative nature.
The XRP saga underscores the tension between innovation and regulation. Key milestones include:
With regulatory overhang lifted and new products launching, XRP faces a pivotal moment:
As of 5 October 2025, XRP stands at a crossroads. The token’s 3-dollar price marks a dramatic recovery from the depths of the SEC lawsuit, and legal clarity, prospective ETFs, and new products like RLUSD provide strong tailwinds. Technical indicators support a bullish bias with significant volatility, while market comparisons highlight XRP’s outsized one-year gains relative to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Yet risks remain. Approval of ETFs is not guaranteed, regulatory shifts could still occur, and the token’s past shows that rallies are prone to steep corrections. Institutional partnerships and stablecoin infrastructure may sustain long-term demand, but investors should prepare for price swings and monitor key support/resistance levels. Whether XRP breaks US$4 by year-end or consolidates depends on upcoming regulatory decisions, market sentiment and broader macroeconomic trends.
