Colorado Lottery, Discovery Center partner to help these birds – Pueblo Chieftain

The Colorado Lottery and the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center’s Raptor Center have announced a partnership to support the Fly On initiative, a statewide effort to expand raptor recovery, rehabilitation and public education programs.
The partnership will strengthen the center’s capacity to care for injured birds of prey while connecting thousands of Coloradans to wildlife conservation stories that inspire action, according to an announcement issued by lottery officials.
Each year, hundreds of raptors across Colorado are injured, displaced or found in distress. Through Fly On, these birds will continue to receive expert medical care, specialized rehabilitation and a second chance at life in the wild, the announcement said. The partnership will also fund free public raptor tour days, construction of new final-stage flight cages to improve recovery outcomes and a full wrap of the Raptor Rescue Rig — a mobile outreach vehicle that travels statewide to assist rescues and raise awareness.
“Every ticket purchased helps protect Colorado’s outdoors, and this partnership is a perfect example of how Lottery proceeds take flight,” said Colorado Lottery senior director Tom Seaver in the announcement. “The Raptor Center’s work embodies the spirit of conservation that our players make possible every day.”
The Raptor Center serves more than 7,000 visitors annually through tours, school programs and community events. With long-term infrastructure upgrades and statewide visibility built into the Fly On initiative, the partnership ensures the message of recovery, access and wildlife protection will continue to soar for years to come.
“Every raptor rehabilitation story is one of resilience. Of a bird’s fight to survive and the people who care enough to help them get there,” Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center executive director Taylor Driver said in the announcement. “The Fly On initiative isn’t just about saving birds; it’s about helping people see what’s possible when we care for the wild things around us. With the Colorado Lottery’s support, we can expand our reach, improve recovery outcomes and inspire thousands of visitors to become stewards of Colorado’s wildlife.”
Since 1983, the Colorado Lottery has spent more than $4.5 billion on outdoor projects and schools through Great Outdoors Colorado, the Conservation Trust Fund, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Outdoor Equity Grant Program, Building Excellent Schools Today and the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, lottery officials said.

Waldorf Winner Strikes Again With $50,000 Lottery Scratch-Off Prize – Southern Maryland News Net

A crab cake dinner and some investments in the family business were on the horizon for a Waldorf man Nov. 20 after he claimed a $50,000 prize on the $50 Maryland Lottery scratch-off game $5,000,000 Fortune.
Well, those things and more Lottery playing as well.
“I love playing,” he said after making the claim at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. “I know once you get a ticket, anything can happen.”
No stranger to good fortune, he reports having a few big Lottery paydays to his name, including a $10,000 win on a similar scratch-off game, $5,000,000 Cash, as well as a pair of $5,000 wins many years ago on Ravens scratch-offs.
The most recent, while it’s his most substantial win, does not change his hope that he’ll land one of the $50 ticket’s top prizes of $5 million.
His wife and business partner in a trucking operation confirms he’s had repeated Lottery wins over the past two decades.
Wife at his side, he said: “I get lucky every now and again.” She added that it usually happens during the holiday season.
The two were planning to stop for a crab cake dinner on the way home to Waldorf and they are planning to put the winnings into their business.
The lucky ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 11575 Berry Road in Waldorf.
The $5,000,000 Fortune game launched in February with three top prizes of $5 million. One of those remains unclaimed as of Nov. 20, along with five second-tier prizes of $100,000, seven more $50,000 prizes, 52 prizes of $10,000, and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $50 to $5,000.

Powerball drawing on November 22 ends without a winner — here are the numbers and next jackpot amount – primetimer.com

Type keyword(s) to search

Powerball did not get a jackpot winner in the November 22 draw, so the prize has increased again, as per Indystar. Many people were hoping to win the huge amount, but no ticket matched all six winning numbers. Still, it is good to check your ticket because many smaller prizes were given out.
The jackpot for Saturday’s draw was $629 million, with a cash value of $291.6 million. Players were asked to check their numbers as soon as the draw was completed.
28, 32, 36, 51, 69
Powerball: 2
Power Play: 2x
Since no one got all six numbers, the jackpot rolled over.
But it was not a completely unlucky night. Two players — one in Georgia and one in Oklahoma — matched five numbers without the Powerball. Each ticket is worth $1 million.
Double Play results:
5, 6, 24, 44, 58
Powerball: 12
No jackpot winner here either.
Because nobody won, the jackpot for the next draw on Monday, November 24, is now $654 million, with a cash option of $303.2 million. It is one of the biggest jackpots of the year.
How many numbers do you need to win?

These options give more chances to win extra money, except for the jackpot, which Power Play does not change.

Baddies USA: Chapter One debuted with a new episode on November 23, 2025, which saw cast member Scotlynd “Scotty” Ryan announce her pregnancy to her co-stars.
The news surprised everyone, as they congratulated her on her new chapter in life, marking her as a future mother.
Scotty is currently pregnant with the CEO of Zeus Network, Lemuel Plummer’s child, which is due in April 2026.
The news came after rumors began circulating on the internet about Scotty’s pregnancy. However, the Baddies USA star maintained her silence then and broke the news during the season premiere.
She revealed it during a conversation with Chrisean, Rollie, Tommie Lee, DJ Sky High Baby, and Sapphire. Since it was a group of mothers, Scotty felt comfortable sharing it with them.
It was during an August 2025 interview with The Breakfast Club that Lemuel publicly confirmed his relationship with Scotty, saying that they were “definitely dating.”
He also opened up about his past relationship with Janeisha, clarifying that although he dated her for seven years, they never took the next step in their relationship.
Baddies USA: Chapter One fans flocked to X when Scotty’s pregnancy was announced, congratulating her and sending their well-wishes.
“scotty being pregnant was not on my 2025 bingo card but it always was bound to happen so,” a fan wrote.

Other Baddies USA: Chapter One fans expressed a similar sentiment.
“Scotty just announced she’s pregnant! Baby Plummer 2026,” another netizen commented.
“I’m happy for Scotty but this should have been her only scene, baddies is not for pregnant women,” a fan posted.
After Scotty disclosed the news, everyone sitting with her hugged and congratulated her. Rollie, in particular, was overjoyed to see Scotty step into a new phase in her.
She considered Scotty as one of her sisters, and was glad to see her happy, having known her from the start of her career on Baddies
When Scotty revealed that she and Lemuel had been trying to have a child, dismissing worries about her pregnancy being a “surprise,” Rollie chimed in, asking Scotty never to change.
She believed her child would “fall so in love” with her since she was the “sweetest person.”
Chrisean expressed a similar sentiment, as she tearfully wished Scotty the best for her life ahead. While speaking to the Baddies USA: Chapter One cameras, she expressed that she wanted Scotty to have a healthy and problem-free pregnancy.
