Fans all made the same joke after Dallas Wings won WNBA draft lottery again – Larry Brown Sports

Larry Brown Sports
Brown Bag it, Baby
Social media comedians were having a field day with the news about the Dallas Wings winning the WNBA draft lottery for a second straight year.
On Sunday, the Wings were revealed to have won this year’s lottery and thus the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft. This comes after the Wings also won last year’s WNBA draft lottery and were able to select Paige Bueckers with the No. 1 overall pick.

In response to the news, everyone made the same joke over X — that Dallas was continuing to be rewarded for the Luka Doncic trade.

After the Dallas Mavericks traded away Doncic to the big-market Los Angeles Lakers last February, they won the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft lottery months later (ultimately selecting Cooper Flagg). That led to conspiracy theories claiming that the NBA had supposedly rigged the lottery in favor of Dallas as a reward for them sending their superstar to a marquee franchise (with the Lakers then selling for a record $10 billion valuation in October).
Now the Wings have also won two consecutive draft lotteries of their own. As a result, they will get a chance to potentially pair Bueckers with her former UConn teammate (and rumored girlfriend) Azzi Fudd or pick another option such as UCLA’s Lauren Betts or Spain’s Awa Fam at No. 1 overall instead.

NEW YORK, Nov. 23, 2025 – The Dallas Wings today won the 2026 WNBA Draft Lottery and will have the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft to be held on Monday, April 13, 2026.
The results of the 25th annual Lottery were revealed by WNBA Head of League Operations Bethany Donaphin during the 30-minute, WNBA Draft Lottery Special on ESPN. following its presentation of the TCU vs. North Carolina State women’s basketball game. This marks the 14th consecutive year that ESPN networks has presented the WNBA Draft Lottery.
Dallas, which entered the Lottery with the most chances to win the top pick (420 out of 1,000), won the WNBA Draft Lottery for the second consecutive year. In November 2024, the Wings won the top pick for the first time in team history after participating in the Lottery 11 previous times. The franchise used that No. 1 overall pick to select Paige Bueckers, who went on to be voted as a starter in the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game and as the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year.
This also marks the fifth time in the history of the WNBA Draft Lottery that the results matched the order of chances held by the Lottery teams. The prior instances were ahead of the 2009, 2015, 2016, and 2018 WNBA drafts.
The Minnesota Lynx, which had the second-most chances to win the top pick (261), will have the second selection. The Seattle Storm will select third after having the third-most chances to land the top pick (167).
The fourth selection belongs to the Washington Mystics, which had 97 chances to receive the first pick. The Chicago Sky, which had the fifth-most chances to garner the top pick (55), rounds out the top five.
Lottery odds were based on the two-year (2024 and 2025) cumulative records of the five teams that did not make the playoffs in the most recent season. With a cumulative record of 19-65, the Wings had the most assigned combinations (420 out of 1,000) and were guaranteed at least the third pick.
The order of selection for the remainder of the first round as well as the second and third rounds will be announced at a later date.
A representative from the accounting firm of Ernst & Young was in attendance to oversee the Lottery process.
The following are results of the 2026 WNBA Draft Lottery.
* Chicago and Minnesota extinguished Minnesota’s right to swap its own first round pick for Chicago’s own first round pick and Chicago has traded its own first round pick to Minnesota (Sika Koné, Nikolina Milić, 4/14/24), (Draft picks, 4/13/25)

+ Phoenix had traded its own first round pick to Chicago (Kahleah Copper, Morgan Bertsch, Michaela Onyenwere, Brianna Turner, 2/6/24) and Chicago had swapped Phoenix’s first round pick for Connecticut’s own first round pick (Marina Mabrey, Rachel Banham, Moriah Jefferson, 7/17/24)

'Sunday Night Football' live updates: Rams lead Buccaneers 21-0 in first quarter – NBC News

In a battle of top NFC teams, who will come out on top at SoFi Stadium?

The Rams are back in the end zone after a 5-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Colby Parkinson.
Stafford got a little tricky to cap the 12-play, 72-yard drive, throwing a no-look pass to Parkinson.
Los Angeles is up 21-0 with 10:46 still left to play in the second quarter.
Stafford started 12-of-12 before throwing incomplete for the first time tonight.
After a screen pass to Colby Parkinson, Stafford is 13-of-14 for 135 yards and a touchdown.
The Bucs are averaging only 1.6 yards per play after their latest punt.
The Rams have held Tampa Bay to only one third-down conversion on their last three attempts, and Baker Mayfield has completed only three of eight passes for five yards so far. Including sack yardage, the Bucs have minus-4 yards passing.
Baker Mayfield is sacked for the first time, and the loss of 9 leads to the second punt of the night for Tampa Bay. The Bucs have three first downs and have converted three of their first five third-down opportunities yet are already down 14-0 near the end of the first quarter.
Cade Otton’s bobbled catch is stolen by Rams defensive back Cobie Durant and returned for a touchdown in one of the most improbable pick-sixes you’ll ever see.
Rams 14, Buccaneers 0.
Los Angeles made it look easy on its opening drive.
The Rams drove 80 yards in 10 plays, even overcoming a sack to get on the board first. Two plays after converting a third-and-18, Matthew Stafford found Davante Adams on a goal-line fade for a score.
Los Angeles leads 7-0.
Nacua’s first three catches have gone for 51 yards, including a 20-yard grab on a third-and-18.
The Bucs converted their first two third downs before misfiring on a third-and-9. Los Angeles entered Week 12 fifth in the NFL in opponent third-down conversion percentage.
The Buccaneers went 29 yards over nine plays before punting to the Rams. Baker Mayfield starts 1-of-3 passing.
And the Buccaneers will take over from their own 28. “Sunday Night Football” is underway!
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford sits down with Jason Garrett to talk about his recent string of standout performances.
Jason Garrett sits down with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to talk about his relationship with head coach Sean McVay, his recent hot streak of play, the greats he’s played with in the past and more.
Here’s an incredible statistic from the ace researchers at NBC Sports: After last Sunday’s win against Seattle, Matthew Stafford’s career record is now 116-115-1 — the first time in his 232-game career that his career record has been above .500.
Since Stafford was traded from Detroit to Los Angeles, it’s clear a team can win with him at quarterback. The Rams have a Lombardi Trophy to show for it. But his career’s only now getting above .500 is another reminder of just how rough the first 12 years were in Detroit.
In late October, a Buccaneers-Rams matchup would have been considered a potential preview of the NFC championship game as both teams started the season fast.
Yet while the Rams (8-2) remain off to their best start since 2018, Tampa Bay’s 5-1 start has been tarnished while it has lost three of its last four games. That slide has reduced its lead in the NFC South to a half-game entering Week 14. Four out of Tampa’s last five games are in the division.
Mike Florio and Myles Simmons reflect on what a dominant career Aaron Donald had.
PFF previews the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-vs.-Los Angeles Rams matchup and spotlights the key players to watch for both teams.
Rams wideout Davante Adams last week became the 17th player in NFL history with 1,000 career catches and only the fifth player to have 10 or more touchdown catches in seven or more seasons.
Randy Moss and Jerry Rice (nine seasons) and Marvin Harrison and Terrell Owens (eight) are the only other receivers to reach the latter mark, and all four are in the Hall of Fame.
Jac Collinsworth, Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison preview the matchup between two of the NFC’s best in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams.
Rams running back Kyren Williams has nine total touchdowns this season to give him 40 in his last 38 games, dating to the start of the 2023 season. In that span, the only player with more scores is Detroit’s Jahmyr Gibbs, who has 41 touchdowns in 43 games.
Drew Dinsick and Jay Croucher back a desperate Tampa Bay Buccaneers team facing the Rams, who are dealing with some key injuries.
Tampa Bay started the season as a Super Bowl contender by running off a 5-1 record full of comebacks and resilience. But as the season has gone on, its defense doesn’t look like the type of unit built for a long postseason run. Its defense ranks in the league’s bottom third in yards (22nd), passing yards (27th) and points allowed (tied for 21st) per game. No other defense has allowed more touchdowns of 20 yards or longer.
Tampa is also coming off the worst defensive performance since coach Todd Bowles began calling the team’s defense in 2019. Last week, Buffalo lost three possessions to turnovers but scored 44 points on Tampa Bay anyway.
For just the third time this season, the Buccaneers will have wide receiver Chris Godwin on the field tonight.
Although Godwin is officially listed as questionable against the Rams, the Bucs expect him to play on “Sunday Night Football,” according to multiple reports.
Godwin has missed 19 of the Buccaneers’ last 21 games. Last year, he missed the final 11 games with an ankle injury, and after he was finally cleared to play in Week 4 of this year, he played in just two games before he suffered a leg injury that has kept him out until now.

Pi Network Price Prediction for 2026 Could Be Boosted by New US Legislation, and DeepSnitch AI Could Grow Fast – CoinCentral

Among factors that affect crypto markets, regulation is a key one. Any legal incentive to adopt crypto usually uplifts prices and volumes. Back in June, the Trump administration passed the Genius Act.
This generated a spike that lasted for 2 months. Now, another piece of legislation, the Bitcoin for America Act, could boost all sorts of cryptos, and Pi Network price prediction would reflect that.
Another crypto, DeepSnitch AI, might be catapulted to the stratosphere by renewed capital investment as a consequence of the new legislation. Its bold proposition, based on sophisticated AI-tech and a massive market, is being hailed by some as the next crypto disruption.
On November 20, Rep. Warren Davidson introduced the “Bitcoin for America Act” bill in the US House of Representatives. The legislation, if passed, would allow citizens to pay their taxes with BTC, without incurring capital gain taxes. Additionally, the paid BTC would go into the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Such legislation would create very strong incentives for capital investments into Bitcoin, which in turn would spill into the whole crypto market. As additional money flows in, the potential price growth of coins like Pi Network would increase significantly.
Even if Pi Network price prediction in the short term isn’t optimistic, its value forecast in 2026 could be significantly improved if the Bitcoin for America Act is approved.
And not only would Pi Network benefit. Here are other cryptos that would be boosted.
Tax incentives make people change their investment patterns. What doesn’t change is that they will, each time, look for the projects, assets, etc. that could generate higher and more stable returns. DeepSnitch AI is clearly in that category.
Its business model and value proposition make total sense. The core idea is to address a pressing and widespread problem in crypto investing: information inequality. While big investors have access to real-time crypto data and sophisticated analytic tools, ordinary people mostly follow trends. DeepSnitch AI will change that.
With a system of AI agents that scan, analyze, and transform crypto data, DeepSnitch conveys market intelligence to anyone, everywhere. For a market that surpasses half a billion crypto holders worldwide, this tool could be a game-changer.
DeepSnitch AI’s amazing presale pace confirms this potential. In just the second stage, more than $560,000 has been raised. And with a still low entry price of only $0.02429, the upside room is huge, making DeepSnitch AI the kind of moonshot that dwarfs even the wildest Pi Network price prediction.
But returns of that magnitude will be reserved for those who buy early into the presale, before prices continue to increase.

Part of what makes Pi Network an appealing coin is its concept of an ecosystem-based, social currency. At the same time, that’s a double-edged sword. Any business that is based on ecosystem building (not just cryptos) faces the early challenge of reaching a critical adoption mass. The path towards that threshold can be long, harsh, and even deadly.
Pi Network debuted with great success back in February. It soared from its launching price of $0.87 to an all-time high of $2.99, a more than 3x increase, in just 6 days. But it later crashed to $0.52 in a bit more than a month, and its price prediction worsened considerably.
Since then, its price has slowly descended, and Pi Network price prediction in the short term is bleak. But looking at things in perspective, Pi Network might be just going through that long and harsh path mentioned above. As the ecosystem gains enough adoption, Pi Network could very much reach $1 once again.
Like Pi Network, Intuition is also based on the concept of a network ecosystem. And like DeepSnitch AI, the core proposition has to do with financial knowledge.
Intuition is a new coin that entered markets on November 5 with a price of around $0.57. The debut wasn’t good, and the coin crashed to $0.18 a day later. Afterwards, it kept slowly descending to an all-time low of $0.09 on November 21. But that day things changed.
Intuition spiked sharply up to $0.23, more than doubling in a few hours. This could signal a tipping point preceding the kind of explosion that is right now unthinkable by any Pi Network price prediction.
Pi Network price prediction isn’t good right now, but things could change for the better if the Bitcoin for America Act is approved next year.
What seems likelier is that 2026 will be the year of DeepSnitch AI. Its solid, market-oriented, and technologically advanced product makes the perfect recipe for an explosive, 100x moonshot.
However, only those who take part early into the presale will be among those celebrating their new wealth.

Because it creates incentives to accumulate BTC as a way of paying taxes without incurring capital gains.
If the ecosystem reaches the threshold critical mass during the next year, indeed it can.
Its combination of a very sophisticated AI technology layer with a massive market appeal.

Mega Millions winning numbers are in for the Tuesday, Nov. 18 drawing with a jackpot that reached an estimated $50 million ($23.1 million cash option).
The winning numbers for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing are 5, 10, 23, 27 and 30 with Mega Ball number 10.
No one won the Mega Millions jackpot.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
In New Jersey, in-store and online ticket sales are available until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
Mega Millions costs $5 to play.
Mega Millions retired its Megaplier feature and now has a built-in multiplier that increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. The multiplier is automatically included in every play.
The odds of matching the five white balls and Mega Ball to win the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
You can watch Mega Millions drawing on YouTube. The winning numbers are also posted to the Mega Millions website and on the New Jersey Lottery website.
A jackpot winner has the option of taking an annuity or cash payment.
The annuity is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, according to the Mega Millions website. Each payment is 5% bigger than the previous one.
“This helps protect winners’ lifestyle and purchasing power in periods of inflation,” according to the Mega Millions website.
The cash option is a one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.
If two or more people win the jackpot in the same drawing, the money is shared equally among all winning tickets.
