Powerball jackpot Monday, Nov. 3, at $419 million as Mega Millions reaches $800 million – Treasure Coast News

Lottery fever is spiking.
Will a $2 ticket make you a multimillionaire? As they say in the lottery business, “it could happen to you.”
After no one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the Saturday, Nov. 1, Powerball drawing for $400 million, the jackpot jumped almost $20 million overnight for Monday, Nov. 3.
The current jackpot has since rolled over 22 times after resetting to $20 million on Sept. 8, when a pair of tickets from Fredericksburg, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri, won the $1.787 billion Powerball drawing on Sept. 6.
And after a rollover on Oct. 31, or Halloween, Mega Millions rose to $800 million (from $754 million) for Tuesday, Nov. 4.
But before that, there’s $419 million up for grabs with Monday’s Powerball drawing. The one-time cash option would be $198 million, according to Powerball online. Check back after 11 p.m. for Monday’s winning Powerball numbers. We’ll see if there’s a winner or another rollover.
In case you’re wondering, Saturday, Nov. 1, winning Powerball numbers were 2-26-43-44-62 and the Powerball was 22. Power Play was 2x. Though those numbers produced another rollover, it wasn’t all bad news: There was one big winner is Saturday’s Powerball drawing. A ticket purchased in Pennsylvania matched 5 for a $1 million prize.
Tickets start at $2 a piece. Below is what to know about lottery odds, how long to claim the cash option if you bought a ticket in Florida, and what happens to unclaimed prize money, according to the Florida Lottery.
Good luck!
Powerball lottery drawings are at 11 p.m. ET every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, including holidays. Check back for Monday, Nov. 3, winning Powerball numbers. We’ll see if there’s a winner so soon after the historic $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot or another chance at more money for the grand prize.
The current Powerball streak started Monday, Sept. 8, after a ticket purchased in Fredericksburg, Texas, and St. Louis, Missouri, matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the $1.787 billion drawing on Sept. 6, 2025.
Below is a recap of drawings and rollovers and how much the jackpot has increased over time.
Powerball drawings are held at 11 p.m. ET Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, including holidays. According to Powerball.com, players have a 1 in 292.2 million chance to match all six numbers whether the jackpot is $20 million or $2 billion. Prizes range from $2 to the grand prize jackpot, which varies.
The next Powerball drawing will be Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Prizes for Florida Lottery must be claimed within 180 days (six months) from the date of the drawing. To claim a single-payment cash option, a winner has within the first 60 days after the applicable draw date to claim it.
The Florida Lottery says its scratch-off tickets and Fast Play game prizes “must be claimed within 60 days of the official end-of-game date. Once the applicable time period has elapsed, the related Florida Lottery ticket will expire.”
According to Florida Lottery’s website, winners cannot remain anonymous: “Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide records containing information such as the winner’s name, city of residence; game won, date won, and amount won to any third party who requests the information.”
However, the site states, the “names of lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner.”
Lottery experts and lawyers have said there are ways to remain anonymous if you win.
Here are the Top 10 Powerball jackpots in the history of the game as of Nov. 3, 2025:

Community invited to join epilepsy awareness fundraiser in Coal Valley – WQAD

COAL VALLEY, Ill. — November is Epilepsy Awareness Month, and the Epilepsy Advocacy Network is inviting the Quad Cities area community to join in the fun while supporting an important cause.
Epilepsy is a brain disorder that causes recurring seizures. It’s one of the most common neurologic disorders in the country and can impact people of all ages. According to a study published by the National Institutes of Health, one in 26 people will be diagnosed with the epilepsy disease in their lifetime.
That’s where the EAN comes in. The nonprofit serves 60 counties in the northern and central Illinois region, including the QCA.
The organization offers both medical and social support, including emergency assistance for medication and travel to appointments, as well as seizure-safe products like pillows and alert watches. They also provide broad case management and advocacy for people of all ages living with epilepsy.
EAN also works to educate the community through free Seizure First Aid trainings, Epilepsy 101 programs for youth, and outreach to schools in connection with a new Illinois House Bill requiring seizure training for educators.
If you want to help their mission, you can attend a Bingo Bash fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 8 at The Rock in Coal Valley. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and the bingo begins at 6. It will be music bingo, with a chance to win prizes including a 32″ TV. There will also be food, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.
Tickets are $20 for ten bingo games or $120 for a table of eight. You can register here or at the door. There are also t-shirts for sale for $15 each.
Awareness is a key focus for the organization year-round, with EAN leaders emphasizing the importance of reducing stigma and improving understanding of the condition.
In addition to educational efforts, EAN hosts support groups throughout Central and Northwest Illinois and online.
Locally, meetings take place on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Moline Public Library. There are also virtual sessions available the fourth Tuesday at 3 p.m. You can join the Zoom meetings here
You can also call 815-846-0881 or click here to find the nearest epilepsy coordinator.
Tune into The Current from 4 to 5 p.m. on weekdays to catch live interviews impacting you, your family and your hometown as well as all of the biggest headlines of the day.

Hell Gate's Guide to (Maybe) Scoring Shakespeare in the Park Tickets – Hell Gate

Hell Gate is owned & run by journalists covering NYC.

Nothing is guaranteed, but if you don’t want to spend a 13th night camped out in Central Park, we have some tips.

Anticipation for this summer’s production of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” was already high, well before the Public Theater announced its star-studded cast. Last year, as the company’s Delacorte Theater in Central Park got a raccoon-ridding revamp, the Public’s annual outdoor stagings went on the road, roaming to sites across the city. It was fun, but it wasn’t, y’know, Shakespeare in the Park, that fairly magical experience where either up-and-coming talent or Broadway and Hollywood superstars take center stage for a few weeks in the middle of Central Park.
Now, the Delacorte is finally reopening, and “Twelfth Night” will be its only production until next year. In previous years, with some luck, I’ve either waited on line in Central Park or won the online ticket lottery, and gotten to see a few fantastic productions. (“Merry Wives” ruled.) But when the cast for “Twelfth Night” was announced, I let out an audible groan. Lupita N’yongo. Sandra Oh. Peter Dinklage. This was going to be a tough one to get into.
While the show hasn’t officially opened yet (technically, that’s on August 21), you can get tickets for the previews, which started on August 7. And the word on the street (and the r/broadway subreddit) is that the production is very good and very fun. Once the reviews drop after the opening, it’s probably game over for trying to get a ticket—people are going to be fighting on the streets. Because the great thing about Shakespeare in the Park? It’s free, free, free. (Members at the Public’s highest donor levels can buy tickets, but that’s a hefty sum. To bastardize the Bard, “Money buys lands, and tickets are sold by fate.”)
So in that spirit, and with one week before it officially opens, Hell Gate did a little legwork to uncover the best shot to get yourself two tickets for the Delacorte. (And before you ask—have we ourselves won yet? NO! But damn it, we have a system.)
