Live Euromillions results for Tuesday, October 21: The winning numbers from £34m draw and Thunderball – Wales Online

Below you'll find the winning numbers for tonight's Euromillions draw and Thunderball as they're picked. The Euromillions jackpot for Tuesday, October 21, was a huge £34m.
The Euromillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday and a ticket costs £2.50. That includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw which creates new UK millionaires every week. The overall jackpot can rise to €190m (approximately £167m).
If you entered the Thunderball you stand to win up to £500,000. You can check your numbers below. Good luck!
If you have got two numbers or one number and two lucky stars or better then you are a winner. Players must match all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers to claim the jackpot. The Thunderball draw was also made tonight and the results will also be displayed below. The Thunderball draw takes place at 8pm and the Euromillions draw takes place at around 8.15pm.
In May 2022 Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, became the UK's biggest-ever Euromillions winners after netting £184m with a lucky dip ticket. Their record did not last long, though, after another UK winner came forward in July 2022 to claim a jackpot of £195m. However they have not gone public. Prior to Mr and Mrs Thwaite's win the previous record was held by an anonymous winner who scooped £170m in October 2019. On June 4, 2021, a ticketholder in the UK scooped the £111m jackpot in the Friday-night draw, matching all seven numbers to become the country's ninth-biggest lottery winner ever at that stage.
In June 2019 a single ticketholder in the UK won £123m in the Tuesday night Euromillions draw. It was the third-biggest Euromillions jackpot in the UK since the draw launched in 2004. It meant they instantly became as rich as Fifty Shades of Grey author EL James (£127m) and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page (£125m). Euromillions is played in nine European countries.
Get the results:
The winning numbers were: 5, 24, 29, 40, and 42.
Tonight’s lucky stars were: 6 and 12.
The Thunderball numbers were: 2, 3, 28, 37, and 38 and the Thunderball was 11.
The jackpot for tonight’s Thunderball draw was £500,000.

What is the new Mega Millions jackpot? It's up to $800 million ahead of Tuesday drawing – The Providence Journal

Are you feeling lucking? The Mega Millions drawing is now up to $800 million, one of the largest of all time.
November historically hasn’t been a lucky month for the Mega Million, with no one winning a November jackpot in nearly a decade.
“It has been a while since the Mega Millions jackpot was won during November; the last time was in 2016. Since the game began in 2002, though, there have been 16 jackpots won during the month; the largest to date was a $326 million prize won in New York on November 4, 2014,” a press release from Mega Million said.
But even if you don’t win the jackpot, that doesn’t mean you won’t win something. While no one claimed the jackpot on the Halloween drawing, 557,912 winning tickets were sold, with about $10.9 million in payouts.
Here’s what to know if you want to try your luck?
The next drawing is Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 11 p.m.
With the jackpot being an estimated $800 million, the cash payout would be $371.7 million.
At $754 million, the jackpot is the ninth largest in the history of the game.
It’s the largest jackpot since last December, when a California ticket won a $1.269 billion jackpot.
Drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays from Atlanta. You can watch them on the official Mega Millions YouTube channel.
If no one wins, the jackpot will continue to grow.
According to the game’s website, “Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers – five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Ball) – or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick. You win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. In the event of multiple jackpot winners, the jackpot prize will be shared.”
There are other prizes in addition to the jackpot. The smallest prize to win is $10.
Mega Millions tickets are $5 each and can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. on the night of a given drawing.

Lottoland Launches Win-Win Charity Scratchcard To Support Malta Community Chest Fund – Lovin Malta

By

Leading lotto betting operator Lottoland, has announced the launch of its Win-Win Charity scratch card to help raise money for The Malta Community Chest Fund, a local foundation committed to improving the lives of people in need.
Available online the new game costs €1 and offers the chance to win up to €50,000, with 20% of the proceeds going directly towards the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. The scratch cards are now available for sale via the Lottoland website, with each purchase helping to make a difference in the lives of people in need.
“We are thrilled to launch this new scratch card and partner with The Malta Community Chest Fund to support their important work in the community,” said Lottoland CEO Nigel Birrell. “We believe that it’s important for companies to give back, and this is just one of the many ways that Lottoland is committed to making a difference here in Malta.”
“We also know that many of our customers want to give back and do something positive and so having the opportunity to support such a noble and altruistic mission, as well as being in with a chance to win money is a huge bonus” added Birrell.
The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation is probably the most well- known of all Maltese Charity organisations, not only because of its prestigious patronage by the Head of State, but also because its benevolence is extended to a wide spectrum of needs.
The Foundation supports people from all walks of life and requests vary between the simplest things like basic food items to the most recent chemotherapy treatment on the market or the need to travel abroad for medical treatment to specialised hospitals.
“We are grateful for the support of Lottoland and the launch of this new product,” said Chairman John Huber “Every purchase of a scratchcard will help us to continue our ongoing work in the community. The money raised by players of Lottoland will be immensely valuable, to assist us in our mission of being able to meet the needs of our patients.”
During the launch event, Lottoland’s ambassador for Malta, Ira Losco explained how The Malta Community Chest Fund has always been a charity close to her heart and that she has been long been a supporter of the amazing work they do.
“We believe that by offering people who want to play a new alternative, that will not only bring joy to those who win prizes but also make a positive impact on our community, is a step in the right direction” said Ira Losco.
“We encourage everyone to get involved and make a difference today. I hope Lottoland inspires more businesses to come up with creative ways to support good causes rather than just one-off donations, by also contributing their know-how, resources and time.”
Last October Lottoland was the biggest winner at the Malta Business Awards organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs in partnership with Malta Enterprise, taking home a total of three trophies. These included first place in the Exceptional Wellbeing at the Workplace and Carbon Neutral Commitment categories, as well as runner up for Best CSR Initiative.
Lottoland, was also the first iGaming company to achieve a carbon neutral status. To date the leading online lotto operator has renatured 90km of riverbanks, planted over 2 million trees worldwide – including a thousand in Malta together with local NGO Saġġar and is the official partner of Nature Trust’s Wildlife Rescue Team.
