A EuroMillions player in Ireland has won a massive €37,000 following Tuesday’s draw.
The ticket, which was won by a Dublin player online, matched five numbers in the EuroMillions draw on November 11 — which was worth a massive €37,722.
The winning numbers on Tuesdays EuroMillions draw were: 4, 22, 32, 36, 47, while the Lucky Stars were 2 and 10.
There was no winner of the €108,416,075 jackpot on Tuesday night, although 42,000 people won various prizes in the draw — including the massive €37,722 prize.
‘What fantastic news for one of our EuroMillions players!’ National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said. ‘Huge congratulations to our newest big winner. Today, we’re urging all online players to check their emails and accounts to see if they’re our latest winner.’
The online player has been sent an email and a notification on the app, and is advised to contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team to arrange the collection of their windfall.
The huge EuroMillions win comes as a Waterford man recently picked up his EuroMillions Match Five plus one Lucky Star prize, worth a colossal €405,711 during the October 31 draw. The winning ticket was purchased from Mulhearns Foodstore in Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford — with him admitting he had to scan the ticket three times to make sure he was reading it right.
‘I heard the news breaking the following day,’ he said at Lotto HQ. ‘But after leaving the ticket in my car over the weekend, I didn’t check it until Sunday evening.
‘I had to scan the ticket three times to believe what I was seeing ‘You’ve Won Big!’ I couldn’t stop smiling for hours. I was so delighted!’
With the huge sum being won, the winner is now planning a Christmas to remember.
