EuroMillions results: Irish player wins a fortune as ticket location revealed – Irish Mirror

The winning numbers for tonight's eye watering EuroMillions jackpot of €122,611,491 are in. While there was no outright winner, one Irish player will be celebrating after scooping a six figure prize.
A fortunate ticket holder in Ireland scooped a life changing €294,048 after matching all five numbers, plus one of the two lucky stars. The winning combination was 9, 26, 27, 45, 48 and lucky stars 8 and 9.
National Lottery bosses have issued an urgent appeal for players to check their numbers carefully. As part of that appeal, they have revealed details about where the golden ticket was purchased.
It has been confirmed that the EuroMillions €294,048 prize winner bought their ticket in Co Cork.
Meanwhile, the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw also went unclaimed, but 46 players will each take home €2,000 after matching four of the five winning numbers. And in the Ireland only raffle, ten players also won €5,000 each.
These winners are among over 55,000 people in Ireland who scored prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games. A National Lottery spokesperson said: "There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot. In total, over 55,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including one winner of the Match 5 + One lucky star receiving €294,048. The winning ticket was sold in Cork."
The winning numbers for the main draw are: 9, 26, 27, 45, 48 and lucky stars 8 and 9.

The winner of the €294,048 prize can contact the National Lottery Claims Department at 1800 666 222 (Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 5.30pm) to arrange collecting their win.
