The Filipino American Association of Bahrain (Fil- Am Bahrain), a non-profit organization devoted to helping those in need, has announced its much-anticipated Bingo Bonanza event, inviting everyone to register online early to secure their spots. The organization aims to make this year’s edition “even bigger and better than the first one.” The event will take place on Friday, November 14, from 5:00 to 11:00 PM at the Intercontinental Hotel, Manama. For an entry fee of 8 Bahraini Dinars per person, participants will receive 30 free bingo cards for a chance to win exciting prizes.
The package also includes refreshments and food, featuring both Filipino and American dishes in celebration of the upcoming Thanksgiving season, a gesture of “Pasasalamat sa inyong lahat” (Thanksgiving to everyone) from Fil-Am Bahrain. The Bingo Bonanza serves as a fundraising activity to support several charitable causes, including assistance for individuals battling serious illnesses and children with health and mobility challenges. According to Orlando Fontanilla, President of Fil-Am Bahrain, proceeds from the event will be offered to the church and the children’s Christmas gift-giving program, particularly those organized at the Philippine Embassy during the holiday season. “We are dedicating this event to the spirit of giving and unity among the Filipino community,” he said, “Every bingo card purchased helps make a difference in someone’s life.” The Fil-Am Organization extends its heartfelt gratitude to all its supporters and encourages everyone to spread the word and join in celebrating a season of compassion, generosity, and togetherness this coming Christmas.
