
FORT WALTON, Fla. (WALA) – A Fort Walton Beach woman claimed the top prize in the $2,000,000 Gold Rush Multiplier Scratch-Off game.

The Florida Lottery announces that Barbara Putnam, of Fort Walton Beach, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $2,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s district office in Pensacola on June 23. Putnam chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,276,000.00.
Putnam purchased her winning ticket from Winn-Dixie, located at 99 Eglin Parkway N.W. in Fort Walton Beach.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, $2,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER, launched in January and features five top prizes of $2 million! This game offers more than $220 million in total cash prizes, including 8.6 million winning tickets. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.41.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024.
