Georgia Lottery player wins $1 million in Powerball drawing – WTOC

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A Georgia Lottery player won $1 million playing the Powerball this weekend, and a $20,000 Mega Millions ticket was sold in Savannah.
The $1 million Powerball ticket was sold by the Publix at 1525 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, Georgia. That ticket matched all five white-ball numbers.
The next Powerball drawing will be Nov. 24 with an estimated jackpot of $654 million.
Additionally, in the Nov. 21 Mega Millions drawing, a player won $20,000 with a ticket from the Publix at 11701 Abercorn Street in Savannah.
That ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball, and had a built-in 2X multiplier.
Other winning GA Lottery tickets include a Fantasy 5 ticket sold in Columbus which earned $306,706, and a $50,000 win from the Georgia Lottery mobile app in Jonesboro.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball, Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, Quick Win, and Georgia FIVE benefit education in the state of Georgia.
