The winning numbers for tonight's massive Lotto jackpot of €5,187,053 are in, but no one managed to scoop the top prize. So far this year, the jackpot has been won eight times by lucky players in Louth (2), Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, Mayo and Waterford.
Despite the jackpot going unclaimed, tonight wasn't a total loss, with over 77,000 winners across the draws. Among them was one main draw player who came agonisingly close, matching five of the six winning numbers plus the bonus. The winning combination was 2, 13, 29, 32, 35, 44 and bonus 45.
This near miss means they now stand to collect a life-changing €292,572 – just in time for Christmas.
It was less fortunate for the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws, where the top prizes won were only €500 and €250, respectively. Meanwhile, 85 Raffle players will each take home €500 for matching the winning raffle number.
Tonight’s main Lotto draw winning numbers are: 3, 24, 29, 31, 38, 40 and bonus 13.
The Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers are: 1, 24, 29, 40, 43, 44 and bonus 14
The Lotto Plus 2 winning numbers are: 7, 18, 21, 38, 42, 44 and bonus 13.
The winning Raffle number is: 5110.
National Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets carefully to see if they are among the thousands of prize winners.
The winner of the €292,572 main draw prize can contact the National Lottery Claims Department at 1800 666 222 (Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 5.30pm) to arrange for collection.
