Michael Steiner American Legion Auxiliary, Jessup, Unit 411 held a cash bingo on Oct. 19 at the post with a Halloween theme. One hundred players attended. Participants were asked to bring a pair of socks for a free game to win $50. An overwhelming amount of 358 pairs of socks were collected and donated to Carbondale Catholic Social Services. There were basket raffles, a 50/50 and full card winner of $250.
