Last BINGO FUN-raiser of the Year!

This Saturday, November 8, will be the last Idyllwild Rotary Club Town Hall Bingo Night of 2025. Each month Rotary has been raising money to benefit a different local nonprofit organization. This month is the Idyllwild Community Fund’s turn. Rotary promises an “unforgettable evening of excitement, camaraderie, and the thrill of the win…” with special prizes and give-aways to mark the occasion.
Saturday November 8, 5:00 p.m., doors open at 4:30. Idyllwild Town Hall, 18 and over only, cash and cards accepted.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Murawski, Freddie Meza, 30, of Murrieta was driving north on Highway 243 near mile marker 19 at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, when he lost the brakes in his semi truck carrying concrete from a demolished building in Pine Cove. Meza plowed the truck into an embankment to stop the vehicle. Neither Meza nor his passenger, Hernan Orozco, 26, of San Bernardino, were injured in the solo traffic collision.
