JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — Someone in Jupiter is walking around with a winning lottery ticket in their pocket.
The Florida Lottery announced on Tuesday that a Quick Pick ticket turned into a $50,915 jackpot for one unsuspecting player in Jupiter, proving that sometimes, luck really does strike when you least expect it.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket came from the Fantasy 5 midday draw on September 15. The winning numbers — 2, 3, 14, 15, and 28 — matched a single ticket, earning the holder a prize of $50,915.64.

The ticket was bought at the 7-Eleven #34824 at 3950 E Indian Town Road. Florida Lottery officials confirmed that this was the only winning ticket for the midday draw, making the Jupiter player the sole jackpot recipient.
