Mass. State Lottery: 6 tickets bought at BJ’s win $1.1M in prize money – MassLive.com

A BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts sold six winning “Mass Cash” lottery tickets for Friday’s drawing, totaling more than $1 million in prize money.
The $1 tickets were sold at a BJ’s store in Franklin, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery website. The winning numbers were 1, 2, 5, 17 and 25.
Five tickets are listed as winning $200,000 and a sixth won $100,000 during Friday’s drawing, all purchased at the same location.
The top prize for Mass Cash is $100,000, however, if multiple bets with the same numbers are put on one bet slip, The Lottery’s website prize listing looks like more. In Friday’s case, the five tickets represent 10 Mass Cash bets that yielded $1 million in winnings — plus another $100,000 on a sixth ticket.
Overall, at least 575 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Friday, including 16 in Springfield, 20 in Worcester and 48 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won so far this year was worth $1 million a year for life, from a winning “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield and claimed in July.
