Mass. State Lottery winner: $1M prize claimed in this $10 game – MassLive

Someone in Massachusetts came forward Thursday to claim a $1 million lottery prize from a $10 scratch ticket game.
The $1 million prize was from “$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword,” a $10 scratch ticket game released in January. There’s still four $2 million grand prizes and six $1 million prizes remaining to be claimed in the game as of Nov. 21.
The winning ticket was sold at JD’s Variety in Fitchburg.
Additionally, someone claimed a $100,000 prize Thursday from a winning “$100,000 Max Winnings” ticket they bought at Lucky Stop in Southwick.
Overall, at least 425 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including eight in Springfield, 14 in Worcester and 41 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won so far this year was worth $1 million a year for life, from a winning “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield and claimed in July.
