Some players managed to at least double their winnings of $10,000
THE Mega Millions jackpot has rolled over for another week after no one claimed the top prize in last night’s draw.
But, lottery officials have started the hunt for the biggest winner of the night who scooped a $100,000 windfall on Friday.

With no one claiming the grand prize of $843 million, players will have to try again at the next draw on Tuesday.
For that game, the jackpot has rolled over to a whopping $900 million.
The cash option is an estimated $415.3 million.
Despite there being no jackpot winner on Friday, there were a number of players who still made impressive gains.

Players are urged to check their tickets as quickly as possible to see if they have made any winnings.
The winning numbers on Friday night were: 16, 21, 23, 48, 70 and Mega Ball 5.
A number of lucky players correctly guessed the first four numbers and the Mega Ball to scoop the third prize of the game which is $10,000.
However, all 16 of them managed to at least double their winnings.

10 players who won the third prize had a 2X multiplier on their tickets giving them $20,000.
Three others tripled the win for $30,000 and two had the 5X multiplier to take home $50,000 each.
Only one player, the biggest winner of the night, had 10X on their ticket giving them $100,000.
Under new game rules introduced earlier this year, Mega Millions players no longer choose to add the multiplier to their ticket.
Instead, it is not a built in feature to each $5 ticket that is automatically and randomly generated.
Regardless of the amount won, players are urged to immediately sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe until they can claim the winnings.
Cash prizes over $600 but less than $10,000 have to be claimed at a Claim Center, by mail or by e-mail.
Anything over $10,000 can only be claimed at a Claim Center or by mail.
Meanwhile, the search is on for a lottery player who scooped $25k for life.
