Night of More than 4,000 Winners – Louisiana Powerball Results – 97.3 The Dawg

(Baton Rouge, LA) Monday night is a Powerball night in Louisiana. That means the crew at the Louisiana Lottery offices was up late again last night, confirming numbers from the Monday night drawing of that multi-state lottery game. And based on the early calculations, Monday's Powerball in Louisiana generated more than 4,000 winning tickets.
As the deadline for the drawing approached last night, we were told that the estimated annuitized jackpot amount for a ticket that matched all five of the white ball numbers and the number on the red Powerball would be $304.7 million.

The Powerball lottery last got a jackpot winner on September 6th. You probably remember that drawing, and if you're a fan of Powerball, you probably bought a ticket for it too. That was the drawing for $1.79 billion. The jackpot was split between two winners. One winner was in Texas, the other in Missouri.
Did Powerball deliver a "double-whammy" win in Monday's game? Here's the drawing for Monday, October 20, 2025.
As much as we'd love to share news of a big win in Louisiana, that was not the case in Monday's drawing. There were no jackpot-winning tickets, and there were no Match 5 Million winners with Power Play, but we did get three brand new millionaires thanks to Match 5 Million without Power Play.
Here is the odd thing about those three Match 5 Million winners on Monday night. All three of the tickets matched the five white ball numbers but missed the Powerball. All three of those tickets were sold in New York. I bet there is a story there. We will go snooping and see what we can find for you.
But since you're not in New York and would really rather know how much you won playing Powerball in Louisiana, we need to explore that information for you as well. It was not a "big win" night in Louisiana. The largest single ticket prize payout for Powerball in the state was only $200. Two tickets earned that prize, while another seven tickets earned a prize valued at $100.
Since our sources at the Louisiana Lottery have revealed that there were over 4,000 winning tickets sold in the state, you probably want to see the numbers from last night to verify your winnings, as meager as they might be for Monday's game.
Here they are:
32   38   66   67   69  Powerball 19  Power Play x2
The Louisiana Lottery revealed that more than 1,700 Powerball players in the state earned a prize $4 last night, doubling their investment. At the same time, another 1,099 players earned a prize of $8. That's what you get paid for a Powerball match with Power Play, at least in Monday's game.
We encourage you to check your tickets via the Official Louisiana Lottery website and the Winners Portal. You can verify your prize and get prize redemption details, which will make getting your money that much easier.
The Mega Millions game, the other multi-state lottery game available in Louisiana, will draw tonight, October 21, 2025, for a jackpot prize of $650 million. That is the estimate for the annuitized jackpot. A lump sum or cash payout prize would be $304.1 million.
That drawing is tonight at 10; by rule, ticket sales must cease at least one hour before the drawing. So, if you're going to play, secure your ticket early.
