The Houston Rockets have been loaded with draft capital, ever since the 2021 trade that shipped former franchise cornerstone James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets for a historic haul of draft picks. All told, Houston landed three unprotected first-round picks from Brooklyn, in 2022, 2024, and 2026, in addition to swaps in 2021, 2023, 2025, and 2027.
Not to mention the Milwaukee Bucks- first-round pick in 2022.
Not bad for a franchise that typically didn't stock up on draft picks, up to that point. 
To date, the picks have turned into Tari Eason and Reed Sheppard, by way of the draft. Houston's front office made a subsequent trade with Brooklyn years later, agreeing to return Brooklyn's own first-round picks in 2025, 2026, and 2029 in exchange for the Phoenix Suns' first-round picks in 2025, 2027, and 2029, which Brooklyn netted in the deal that sent Kevin Durant to Phoenix in 2023.
Interestingly enough, Houston would later acquire Durant, by shelling out the Suns' original first-round pick in 2025, along with Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks. 
The remarkable facet of the deal was that Houston was able to keep the Suns' 2027 and 2029 first-round picks. 
ESPN's esteemed draft expert, Jeremy Woo, rated Houston fourth among teams with the most future draft picks, of which Houston has nine future first-round picks and four future second-round picks.
Of those picks, one in particular stands out to Woo: the 2027 pick that originally belonged to Phoenix, with Woo coining it as a "potential lottery ticket."
"The unprotected 2027 pick Houston owns from Phoenix stands out as a potential lottery ticket, with the Suns in the midst of a younger roster reset that figures to be challenging in the short term. It's also a valuable trade chip if the Rockets decide to continue buying in the moment to contend with Durant turning 37 this year."
It's a fair and viable point. The Suns underwent a soft rebuild, getting rid of Durant and Bradley Beal, after their Big Three model of Durant, Beal, and Devin Booker imploded.
Although this isn't as drastic as the organizational teardown and overhaul that Houston underwent in 2021, it's not that far off.
They parted with multiple coaches also, as Frank Vogel and Mike Budenholzer were both ushered out in consecutive years. The main difference is that they've been able to retain Booker, thus far, as he agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $145 million.
But as we know, in today's NBA, players first take the contract extension and later request a trade, once they've realized there's not a viable pathway to title contention. 
No player wants to waste away their prime years on a lottery team.
If this happens to be the Suns' fate by the end of this season, they'd easily be one of the worst teams in the league, and Houston would cash in, as owners of their draft pick in the following year.
Even if Booker chooses to stay in Phoenix, the calculus is the same. After all, we just saw the Suns miss the postseason with Booker, Durant, and Beal. 
That roster figures to be better than what Phoenix will be trotting out the next handful of years.
The Rockets would win in either scenario.

The price of Pi Coin struggles to break free from Bitcoin’s volatility. As the correlation between the two assets tightens, investors in the flagship cryptocurrency of the “Pi revolution” are navigating a challenging landscape.

The correlation between Pi Coin and Bitcoin currently stands at 0.74, a figure that has been strengthening recently. While correlations can sometimes support price growth, this trend poses a significant challenge for Pi Coin. Indeed, Bitcoin’s persistent volatility and its inability to maintain sustainable bullish momentum risk having a negative impact on its smaller counterpart.
The fact that the Coin now so closely mirrors Bitcoin’s performance could translate into larger losses, especially in a cryptocurrency market that struggles to find stability.
From a technical standpoint, Pi Coin’s momentum is weakening worryingly. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) of the altcoin is slipping below the neutral threshold of 50.0, entering bearish territory. This decline suggests intensifying selling pressure, seriously limiting Coin’s chances of recovery unless more favorable market conditions emerge.
A prolonged stay below this threshold could even signal diminishing investor confidence. If this bearish momentum persists, Pi Coin could face further declines, especially if external factors such as a Bitcoin drop amplify the pressure.
At the time of writing, Coin is trading at $0.345, just above its support level at $0.340. The altcoin has dropped 3.5% after another failure to break through the resistance at $0.360, a barrier that has limited its recovery attempts for weeks.
This recurring lack of buying strength to overcome this technical threshold reflects the challenges facing Pi Coin. If market conditions continue to deteriorate and Bitcoin remains weak, the altcoin could slip below $0.340, falling to $0.334 and potentially approaching its all-time low of $0.322.
In conclusion, the strong correlation between Pi Coin and Bitcoin could prove costly for investors in the flagship cryptocurrency of the “Pi revolution.” With an RSI in bearish territory, a drop below $0.340 risks triggering deeper declines. Only a successful break above the resistance at $0.360 could offer hope for a short-term recovery.
Token enthusiasts will need to closely monitor cryptocurrency market developments, particularly Bitcoin’s performance, to assess the outlook for their investment.

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A Berrien County man could hardly believe his luck when he won a $150,000 prize on his second Powerball ticket ever.
40-year-old Michael Werner, of Buchanan, matched four white balls and the Powerball—08-23-25-40-53 PB: 05—in the Sept. 1 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. The Power Play on his ticket multiplied the win to $150,000.
“This was only my second time ever playing Powerball,” said Werner. “My first time was the drawing before this one, so I used my winnings from that to purchase this ticket. I played my own set of numbers, so when I was looking at the results the next day, I recognized them right away.” 
He was shocked to take home the win.
“It was hard to believe, so I had my brother double check what I was seeing and then I logged into my lottery account and saw my $150,000 balance!” he said.
Werner recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. He plans to travel and pay bills with his winnings.
Powerball tickets are $2 each. A “Power Play” option multiplies non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times to a maximum of $2 million for an additional dollar.

On September 19, the crypto market consolidated despite the large amount of hype resulting from the Fed rate cuts on September 17.
After falling to $115K, traders were speculating whether Bitcoin could recover. Yet, experts argue that long-term prospects are bullish, with a strong possibility of a breakout toward $120K.
Meanwhile, BNB logged a solid performance throughout the entire day, with the long-term BNB price prediction indicating there’s a possibility of further pushes above $1K.
All in all, many traders are cautious about prospects surrounding major altcoins and are instead shifting their attention to smaller presales.

Because of the uncertainty and the slow momentum of established coins (save for BNB), investors are showing increased interest in smaller projects and presales that may not have the same amount of volatility.

For the breakout to occur, bulls will have to apply pressure and reclaim the $3.65 zone and confidently flip it into support. This may lead to a rally that could go as high as $5, with the possibilities of XRP even approaching $10 at the end of Q4.
Ripple recently announced a partnership with DBS and Franklin Templeton, which is very bullish for XRP. Combined with future SEC approval of XRP ETFs, XRP may actually break out and set new ATHs.
Despite the correction across the crypto market, such a strong BNB price prediction indicates the sentiment is overwhelmingly bullish.
Still, while BNB, XRP, and other alts are set for a breakout, the biggest winners will be holders who bought in at a lot earlier. As such, regular retail traders would have to invest thousands of dollars to receive a massive ROI.
