British ticketholder scoops £25,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot – Metro.co.uk

One lucky ticketholder from the UK has taken home £25,701,358 after matching all the numbers in the EuroMillions draw.
The win is the fourth time this year someone from the UK has won the top EuroMillions prize.
It is also the second consecutive Friday that a UK ticketholder has taken home the winning jackpot.
One lucky person won £26 million in last Friday’s draw, another player took home £65 million on Valentine’s Day, and a third scooped a jackpot of £83 million in January.
The winning numbers in Friday’s draw were 06, 07, 17, 20, 21 and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 10.
Start your day informed with Metro’s News Updates newsletter or get Breaking News alerts the moment it happens.
The National Lottery games were a success on Friday night after a single player won the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 11, 22, 25, 31, 34, and the Thunderball number was 13.
Winning the jackpot prize is a life-changing moment, so knowing the next steps after realising you have won is so important.
Winners are well-looked after every step of the way by a dedicated team of National Lottery ‘Winner’s Advisors’.
Ticketholders for the Lotto have been urged to check their tickets after two new millionaires in the UK have yet to claim their winnings.
Two people have won the Lotto jackpot after matching all six main numbers, during the October 4 and October 8 draws.
But neither winner has come forward yet – and they only have 180 days from the date of the win to claim their massive prize.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Could return Wednesday – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
Garland (toe) could make his season debut Wednesday against the 76ers, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports.
Garland, who underwent offseason surgery to repair his big toe, is expected to be upgraded on the official injury report. Whether that’s a questionable or a probable tag remains to be seen, but this is a huge boost for the Cavaliers. Once Garland does get the green light to return, it’s likely that he would have some type of restrictions early on.

3.5-million-euro lottery winner traced after almost 5 months – VRT

Belgium’s National Lottery has announced that the person that won a 3.5-million-euro jackpot on 14 June this year has finally been traced. The lucky winner lives in the Waasland area of East Flanders.
For more than four and a half months there had been no trace of the winner and they had not come forward to claim their prize. However, in a statement released on Tuesday morning the National Lottery said that the efficiency of its IT systems and the expertise of it staff had enabled it to find the jackpot winner.
The winner has reacted and thanked the National Lottery for all the efforts that have been made to trace them.
“I am extremely grateful to the National Lottery for their efforts in locating me. Without them, I would never have received this jackpot”. The lucky winner says that they intend to invest the money in property and holidays.
To guarantee the anonymity of the winner, there will be no official cheque presentation at the point of sale where the winning ticket was purchased. No further details will be released that could lead to the winner being identified.
