In pictures: Frasers Group unveils Sports Direct flagship in Liverpool – Retail Gazette


Frasers Group has opened a new store in Liverpool, bringing together Sports Direct and Everlast Gyms+ under one roof. 
The store, which is located on 35 Church Street, Liverpool, spans 90,000 sq ft across three floors.
It brings together sportswear and contemporary brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Hugo and Levi’s, with each floor zoned by sport and training type.
Sports DirectThe store’s in-build Everlast Gym+ which occupies the full third floor, features the UK’s first Hyrox performance centre.
The gym features a reformer Pilates studio and a dedicated recovery zone.
Other key features of the flagship include running concept, outdoor concept, women’s training concept, an Under Armour agility test, an Adidas football skill zone, Game products and an express version of an Evans Cycles store.

Over 50% of the retailer’s stores have been “elevated” as part of its strategy so far.

Sports Direct opened its new Westfield Stratford store in May, spanning 20,000 sq ft across two storeys.

It was so successful that the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie has decided to bring back Bingo Loco in 2026. According to the MJN Center, Bingo Loco will return on Saturday February 6th, 2026. Tickets are already on sale at MJNCenter.org.
2026 at the MJN Center is going to be Awesome…especially because their first event in the new year will be ACW: Awesome Championship Wrestling's Poughkeepsie Rumble on January 3rd.

Mass. casino winner: 2 jackpot prizes won on same day – MassLive.com

Two big jackpot prizes were won on the same day at a Massachusetts casino.
On Oct. 24, a $10 bet was placed on a “Quick Hit” slot machine at Encore Boston Harbor to win $25,000. And, on the same day, a $6 wager was placed on a “Huff & Puff” game to win $16,036.82.
The casino, which is located in Everett, has more than 2,700 slot machines and more than 175 table games.
Players must be 21 years or older.
Encore Boston Harbor set a new record for jackpot payouts in August, distributing more than $46.3 million to lucky winners across its gaming floor.
The casino paid out $46,395,287.66 across 16,628 total jackpots during the month, marking the highest payout total in the venue’s history. The vast majority came from slot machine wins, with 16,490 slot jackpots totaling over $45.3 million.
Table games contributed 135 jackpots worth approximately $1 million, while sports betting accounted for three jackpots totaling $15,296.53.
The single largest winner in August hit a $134,778.50 jackpot from a $225 bet on a slot machine called “Huff n More Puff” on August 2.
The record August figures represented a significant increase from July, when the casino paid out $39,627,206.20 across 15,101 jackpots. The payout amounts have remained high in subsequent months, with September seeing $42,122,246.90 distributed across 15,187 jackpots and October reaching $43,173,022.60 across 15,827 wins.

When is the next Powerball drawing? $654 million jackpot up for grabs – MassLive.com

The Powerball jackpot continues to climb.
With no recent Powerball jackpot winners, including on Saturday, the prize has rolled to more than $650 million.
The Powerball jackpot now sits at an estimated $654 million with a cash value of $303.2 million as of Nov. 24.
Last Wednesday’s drawing, a ticket that matched four of the first five numbers drawn and the Powerball number was sold in Massachusetts.
That ticket is worth $50,000. The winner bought it at a shop called Skip’s Country Store in Rowley.
Another $50,000 Powerball winning ticket was sold on Saturday at Nouria in Peabody.
The next Powerball drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. on Monday.
Tickets cost $2 each and can be purchased at Massachusetts State Lottery retailers across the state until 9:50 p.m. on Monday.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
