Did anyone win tonight's EuroMillions £119m jackpot? – Liverpool Echo

The latest EuroMillions jackpot was a lifechanging £119m – but did anyone win? The National Lottery was offering players a chance to win the incredible sum of money that could change your life forever.
This year has seen some of the biggest EuroMillions jackpots, with one lucky ticketholder bagging themselves £208m in June following successive rollovers after several jackpots went by without a winner.
To win the full jackpot, players must match all five numbers from one to 50 as well as the two Lucky Star numbers from one to 12. Receiving that much tax-free cash is almost unimaginable. If you won, the world would be your oyster.
You could leave your job, pay off your debts, and travel to pretty much anywhere you wanted. You could also give generously to friends, family and some deserving causes close to your heart.
Tonight's winning numbers are: 2, 4, 15, 21, 48 and the Lucky Stars are 6 and 12.
The ECHO will update this page with the winning details when they are announced.
The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 8.45pm.
A ticket costs £2.50 and includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw, which creates new UK millionaires every week.
More information about tonight's draw can be found on the National Lottery website. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the draw.
Winning the National Lottery is a moment that can change the winner’s life forever. Whether it’s a modest windfall or a multimillion-pound jackpot, Allwyn – the operator of The National Lottery – said they ensure every winner is guided through a "secure, supportive, and confidential process" so that they can start to enjoy their good fortune as quickly as possible.
From the moment a winning ticket is confirmed, Allwyn said a dedicated team of winners’ advisors steps in to provide or provide access to a whole range of emotional and practical services. This ranges from expert guidance to emotional support and access to professional financial advice.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: "Everyone dreams of that huge win when they buy their National Lottery ticket – and for those lucky enough to experience it, we’re here to make sure it’s a positive and secure journey.
"From financial advice to emotional support, our role is to help winners take control of their new future with confidence."

Trending:
A winning Scratcher ticket sold on Valentine’s Day at a Sebastopol convenience store made one lucky player $5 million richer, according to the California Lottery.
It’s the fifth California Lottery ticket worth $1 million or more purchased in the county this year.
The winning ticket, a $20 Maximum Millions Scratchers game, was sold at Husary’s 76 gas station and convenience store at 2110 Gravenstein Highway North in Sebastopol on Feb. 14, California Lottery officials said a Monday news release.
Edy Giron Ruiz claimed the prize, according to the release, which is the the highest payout for the game.
The chances of winning one of game’s three top prizes were 1 in 3 million.
Lottery officials said Ruiz bought the ticket during a “routine stop” at the store with his brothers after work.
“When I scanned it and saw what it said, I couldn’t believe it. It was only happiness,” Ruiz told lottery officials. “I was with my brothers and we all celebrated together.”
“Mr. Ruiz works with his brothers in a construction business, and he happened to be in the Sebastopol area at the time for a job when he purchased the winning ticket,” California Lottery spokesperson Yvonne Vazquez said in a Tuesday email to The Press Democrat. “He’s been playing Lottery games since 2018, the year he arrived in the U.S.”
Chris Green, manager of Husary’s 76, said in a phone call Tuesday that he was not there when the ticket was sold, but that lottery officials came to the station to confirm the winning ticket. As with any Scratchers top prize of $1 million or more, Husary’s earned a bonus of one-half of 1% of the prize, or $250,000. The store’s owner, Mousa Husary, use some of the money to give all the employees a bonus, Green said.
“He’s a really good boss,” he said.
With his winnings now in hand, Ruiz told lottery officials that he plans to visit his family.
“He’s especially happy about the prize because he can now visit his family in Mexico, a trip he hasn’t been able to make since moving here,” Vazquez said in Tuesday’s email. “These funds will allow him to reunite with them after several years apart.”
Four other tickets sold in Sonoma County have been big winners this year.
In March, a winning Set for Life Scratchers ticket worth $1.2 million was sold at MD Liquor & Food on Mission Boulevard in Santa Rosa, a winning $100 Million Mega Cash Scratchers ticket worth $1 million was sold at MD Liquor & Food at University Square in Rohnert Park and a winning SuperLotto Plus ticket worth $30 million was purchased at My Good Market in Cotati.
In January, a Winter Magic Multiplier Scratchers game worth $1 million was sold at Oliver’s Market on Stony Point Road in Santa Rosa.

What would you do with $50K lottery winnings? KC-area woman says she might buy a freeze-dryer – KCTV

JACKSON COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Missouri Lottery says a Powerball ticket purchased in Jackson County was exactly what an area woman needed.
The anonymous winner purchased the ticket on Oct. 15 at the QuikTrip on 6551 E. Front Street in Kansas City. It matched four out of five white balls (10, 13, 28, 34 and 47) and matched the Powerball (15).
Unaware she had won anything more than another free ticket, she put it aside for weeks. When she checked the ticket a second time, though, she realized it was worth a lot more.
“I checked the ticket on Monday and it said, ‘Winning ticket – see Lottery,’” she told lottery officials. “Then I looked it up on the website and said, ‘Oh my god, I won $50,000!’
Asked what she would do with her winnings, the woman had two ideas:
“We’re building a house so it’s perfect timing. I do a lot of canning and I think I’m going to buy myself a freeze dryer.”

This Arkansas Man Won $550,000! – Kicker 102.5

#1 FOR NEW COUNTRY
How would you like to win over half a million? That's what happened for a man from Arkansas earlier this month.
The man from Hackett, Arkansas, brought home a whopping $550,000 cash prize in the November 4 Natural State Jackpot drawing.
He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in Little Rock a few days later on November 7, after he matched all five winning numbers: 10, 17, 18, 26, and 27.
The winner, who says he is a regular lottery player, bought his lucky Quick Pick ticket at Hugs and Biscuits on South Main Street in Hackett. He’s had other wins before, but not like this.
His wife told lottery officials,
If diligence will win you the jackpot, he’s got it.

After the drawing, he scanned his ticket and was directed to visit the Claim Center, which is a big clue that you have won big since retailers can only cash up to $300.
I thought, ‘No, no… really? Oh my!’

He calmly asked his wife if she wanted to take a trip to Little Rock. Since he didn't share the news with her immediately, she said she already had plans. Those plans changed when he texted her a photo of the winning ticket.
Once the shock wore off, the couple headed to Little Rock together to claim their prize money. He says he plans to save a portion of the money.
