A plumber who has won more than £300,000 on a lottery has revealed he is planning to spend some of the cash doing up his own bathroom.
John Fearman, from Heathfield, in East Sussex, is sharing a £1m People's Postcode Lottery jackpot with two neighbours.
The 62-year-old said he was planning an "epic spending spree", including treating himself to a classic car and getting a new bathroom.
He said: "It's embarrassing really, being a plumber and not having got my own bathroom done."
Mr Fearman said coming into the money had changed his life "forever" but he had no plans to retire.
He said: "You work hard all your life, but you don't expect something like this to happen.
"It has. And it's changed everything."
He said he was also planning to replace his old, broken-down work van with a brand-new one and is hoping to take a few dream holidays, including to Vietnam and New Zealand.
Mr Fearman said he had been playing the lottery for over a decade when he received news of the £333,333 windfall.
"I honestly thought someone was winding me up," he said.
"When they told me I'd won, I was completely blown away. I couldn't speak.
"I was honestly going to give it up last month. It's been years, and I've never won anything big.
"It just proves you never know what's around the corner."
His neighbour, Angela West, 67, said she was also "blown away" with her win of £333,333.
She was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer a decade ago, and was still recovering when her husband, Dean, died from pancreatic cancer.
She said: "After everything we've been through, I just feel so lucky to be here.
"You realise money can't buy your health, but this win will help me enjoy life a bit more and help my family too.
"I've had a lot of bad luck in my life, but this is something good at last."

The recent winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Publix grocery store on North Highway 29 in Newnan. However, we may never know who won the massive jackpot.
NEWNAN, Ga. – One metro Atlanta resident is waking up a multimillionaire after winning the largest Mega Millions jackpot in Georgia history — but their identity may never be revealed.
PREVIOUS STORY: Mega Millions jackpot: Winning $980M ticket sold in Georgia
What we know:
The Georgia Lottery says the winning ticket for Friday night’s estimated $980 million jackpot was sold at Publix #1816 in the Arbor Springs Plaza on Highway 29 in Newnan. Stores that sell a jackpot-winning Mega Millions ticket earn a $50,000 retailer bonus.
Under Georgia law, lottery winners can remain anonymous for any prize of $250,000 or more, meaning the lucky winner can keep their name private if they submit a written request to officials.
One Georgia player is taking home the Mega Millions jackpot after winning big with a ticket bought at Publix. FOX LOCAL’s Judayah Murray, Elizabeth Rawlins, Lindsay Tuman and Alex Forbes talk about what they would do with the near billion-dollar prize.
What we don’t know:
The Mega Millions win marks a historic moment for the state, but unless the winner chooses to come forward, the person behind the life-changing ticket may never be known.
Winning lottery tickets are usually sold at locations like convenience stores, gas stations, and supermarkets like Publix that sell a high volume of tickets.
OTHER RECENT WINS
Big picture view:
Mega Millions entries can be bought in person at lottery retailers across Georgia or through the lottery’s online platform for those with a valid in-state address.
Money generated from ticket sales helps fund education initiatives statewide. Since its launch, the Georgia Lottery has directed more than $29.8 billion toward scholarships, Pre-K programs, and other student support efforts.

What a year it’s been for the Contreras High football team. Coach Manuel Guevara resigned in February when the school wouldn’t let him hold offseason workouts. Then he returned after school officials changed their mind.
In the summer came immigration raids by ICE that created fear among players and parents, forcing 20 to skip practice one day alone.
“Kids were messaging me their parents don’t want them to leave their house,” Guevara said.
Then the team won its first ever City Section playoff game on Nov. 7 since the school opened in 2007. Now the Condors are in the City Section Division III semifinals against top-seeded Santee on Friday.
“It’s definitely been a roller coaster year to say the least,” Guevara said.
Leading the team have been two-way starters Alex Vasquez and Randy Jones, both playing linebacker and running back. Jones has 1,107 yards rushing and Vasquez is at 720 yards. Jones, a fullback, has been “an animal. He runs hard,” Guevara said.
The challenge this week is finding a way to deal with All-City running back Darnell Miller, who rushed for 311 yards and three touchdowns in Santee’s 44-35 win over Contreras on Sept. 12.
“He’s a special athlete,” Guevara said. “He goes from zero to full speed in a step and a half.”
Contreras football coaches Manuel Guevara and Carlos Trujillo take turns washing jerseys. It was Trujillo's turn this week after mud game. He took them to an Eagle Rock laundromat, put in $4 in coins x three, then $5 for drying. 90 minutes. At least it has WiFi. He watched film.
Contreras defeated Jefferson in the mud 20-14 on Friday. Contreras hopes for another muddy field this week, but it’s Guevara’s turn to wash jerseys. He’d enjoy going to the Laundromat if it means his team has reached the City Division III championship game.
