Resident Evil: Code Veronica is getting a remake this year, from fans – Eurogamer

Another mutation.
An unofficial fan-made remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica is due out this year.
Aiming to be in-line with Capcom’s own remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, the Code Veronica remake features upgraded visuals and a third-person camera, among other improvements.
It’s been in development since 2019 and will be released for free at some point in 2022 as three separate chapters. It’s not yet clear if those chapters will be released separately or together.
The remake is also adding new animations, the dodge mechanic from the Resident Evil 3 remake, a fire and rain reaction system, and redesigned lighting.
Many of these additions are improvements to a demo released by the fan developers last year that’s still playable.
Multiple languages and a “lite” version for PCs with low resources are also planned. “The idea of this version is that nobody is left out without being able to play the Remake,” reads the website.
A lengthy trailer for the project shows off many of the new features.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica was the fourth game in the main series to be released by Capcom, originally for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. It follows Claire Redfield from the second game as she searches for her brother Chris and winds up on a remote prison island.
It may seem like the obvious next game for Capcom to remake, but instead rumours suggest they’re planning a remake of Resident Evil 4 following its recent VR outing.

Stellar Price Analysis: XLM Revisits Long-Term Compression Zone as Market Evaluates Historical Structure – Brave New Coin

Best Crypto Presales
Stellar price continues to move within a narrow multi-week range while trading beneath key resistance levels, drawing renewed attention from analysts who are monitoring the asset’s eight-year macro structure.
The token remains positioned below a long-term descending trendline that has been tested multiple times since 2018, creating a historical area of relevance for market participants assessing whether the current cycle could shift momentum toward a potential breakout attempt.
In a recent X update, market analyst Cryptollica posted a long-term XLM chart highlighting what appears to be an eight-year compression structure with repeated touches at the descending resistance line during major market peaks in 2018, 2021, and 2024.
The chart also shows the price maintaining visibility above its long-term moving average band, suggesting that the coin has remained in a sustained accumulation phase over multiple cycles rather than entering full structural breakdown.
The analyst captioned the chart with “8 YEARS” along with a strong personal call to action; however, the shared commentary represents individual opinion rather than confirmed market direction or professional financial guidance

The visual structure emphasizes historical resistance interaction and long-duration consolidation, which is common among assets exhibiting cyclical behavior tied to broader market liquidity shifts.
While long-term compression can precede momentum expansion, directional confirmation requires observable technical validation such as breakout closing strength, volume expansion, and macro market alignment. The analyst’s post reflects a narrative based on historical chart interpretation rather than deterministic projection.
According to updated figures from BraveNewCoin, Stellar is priced at $0.26, registering a -0.92% movement over the past 24 hours. Market capitalization stands at $8,311,040,012.00, placing the asset at Rank 24, while 24-hour volume is recorded at $115,822,386.00 with a circulating supply of 32,126,089,450 coins.
Data Shows Market Softness With High-Value Capitalization Profile

The recorded intraday price action fluctuated between $0.256 and $0.266, suggesting contained volatility within a defined horizontal range. Volume readings below previous breakout conditions imply neutral-to-indecisive market participation rather than capitulation or impulsive trend formation. Despite short-term softness, the coin maintains a large-scale capitalization structure, indicating persistent market relevance within the Web3 and cross-border payments segment.
At the time of chart review, XLM trades near $0.2602, maintaining price action beneath the Bollinger Band basis at $0.2856 and well below the upper band resistance near $0.3217. This positioning confirms that momentum has yet to transition into breakout territory, and the asset remains in a consolidation channel.
The lower band at approximately $0.25 continues to act as a near-term support floor, aligning with recent candle wick rejections.

The MACD indicator remains in negative territory, with the MACD line at -0.0164 and the signal line near -0.0156, while the histogram prints marginally below zero at -0.00089. These readings signal low-intensity market engagement and a lack of confirmed bullish drive, despite small price recovery movements.
For sentiment to shift toward directional strength, chart watchers may monitor whether price tests and closes above the $0.29 zone, supported by expanding volume and momentum crossover criteria.

TQ Wuling Bingo details revealed ahead of Q4 launch – up to 410 km range – AutoBuzz.my

Preliminary details of the TQ Wuling Bingo electric vehicle (EV) have been revealed ahead of its scheduled launch in Q4 this year. While full specifications are yet to be disclosed, the brief specifications on the company’s website give us an early glimpse of what to expect when the car arrives in our market soon.
The TQ Wuling Bingo EV measures at 3,950 mm long, 1,708 mm wide, and 1,580 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm, making it smaller than the Proton eMAS 5 (stylised as e.MAS 5) and closer in size to the Perodua Axia. TQ Wuling will be offering the compact hatch in three colours: Neon blue, Lavender Purple, and Milky White — all with a black roof for a dual-tone effect.
Inside, the TQ Wuling Bingo EV comes equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays — one for the digital instrument cluster and another for the touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is finished in perforated faux leather, complemented by “Glossy Ceramic” accents and additional faux leather trim for a more premium feel.
Based on the images on the website, the Bingo EV also features a dual-tone interior, paired with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel wrapped in matching two-tone faux leather. It uses a rotary gear selector on the centre console, and offers 310 litres of boot space, expandable to 710 litres with the rear seats folded TQ Wuling says.

In Malaysia, the TQ Wuling Bingo EV will be offered in two variants: the Pro, equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that delivers 333 km of range (CLTC), and the Max, which uses a larger 37.9 kWh LFP battery for up to 410 km of range (CLTC). While AC charging details have yet to be revealed, both variants support 50 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30–80% recharge in just 35 minutes.
The company hasn’t revealed official power figures yet, but based on the Indonesian model, the car should make 68 hp (50 kW) from a single front-mounted electric motor.
Safety-wise, the TQ Wuling Bingo will be kitted with a Smart Safety System and Keyless Entry with Auto-lock and Unlock features. It comes standard (notably) with six airbags, along with standard assistance systems like Anti-lock Braking, Electronic Stability Control and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
The TQ Wuling Bingo EV is expected to be priced below RM100,000, with plans for local assembly (CKD) at Tan Chong Motor Holdings’ Segambut plant. With the Proton eMAS 5 recently launched with a starting price of RM56,800, it will be interesting to see whether TQ Wuling Bingo can match the price of the Proton eMAS 5 closely, or even undercut it.

Georgia Player Wins $980 Million Mega Millions Jackpot – Букви

Mega Millions lottery play slips are on display for customers at a Chicago convenience store in April. Photo by Nam Y. Huh/AP.
According to CNN
A player from the state of Georgia has won a massive Mega Millions jackpot, estimated at about $980 million. It is the eighth-largest prize in the game’s history.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers: 1, 8, 11, 12, 57 and Mega Ball 7. The win ends a long run of 40 drawings without a jackpot, and for the first time since June the largest prize has gone to a new winner. In the previous drawing, a Virginia ticket produced a $348 million prize.
“We are pleased to congratulate the state’s biggest winner in its history.”
The winner may choose between annual payments totaling $980 million over 30 years or a one-time cash lump sum of about $452.2 million before taxes.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Publix supermarket in Newnan – a town about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta. The store will receive a retailer bonus of $50,000 for selling the jackpot ticket.
Georgia Lottery President and CEO Gretchen Corbin said in a press release that this is the largest winner in the state’s history.
Under Georgia law, a winner may remain anonymous if the prize exceeds $250,000 and a written request for confidentiality is filed.
This is also the largest Mega Millions prize since the game’s recent April update that raised the ticket price to $5 and the starting jackpot to $50 million. Under the new system, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290 million, the lottery said.
In the most recent drawing, a ticket sold in Michigan won $3 million by matching all five white balls and the 3X multiplier. Also, 22 tickets matched four white balls plus Mega Ball, winning $20,000 each.
The Mega Millions record stands at $1.6 billion, and it was won by a single ticket sold in Florida in August 2023.
