Jackpot soars to $546 million in Powerball while Mega Millions creeps up to $50 million – primetimer.com

Type keyword(s) to search

The Powerball jackpot has reached $546 million after no one hit the winning numbers in the latest draw.
At the same time, the Mega Millions prize has increased to $50 million, offering lottery fans across the United States two significant opportunities to win.
Powerball and Mega Millions are the two biggest multi-state lotteries in the country. Both have seen their jackpots grow week after week as players continue to test their luck.
With such massive prizes up for grabs, excitement is spreading among regular players and first-timers alike.
The Powerball draw on Saturday night did not produce a jackpot winner. The winning numbers were 6, 7, 12, 47 and 53, with the red Powerball number 21. The Power Play multiplier was 4x.
Although nobody claimed the top prize, several smaller wins were reported across the country. One ticket purchased in Puerto Rico matched all five white balls and included the Power Play option, winning $2 million. Another ticket sold in Arizona hit the second prize of $1 million.
In California, two tickets matched five numbers but missed the Powerball, each winning $609,497. California’s prize amounts vary based on ticket sales and the number of winners in each draw.
In New Jersey, three tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball, winning $50,000 each. In total, 32 tickets across the country won the same $50,000 third-tier prize.
Powerball tickets cost $2 each. Players can add the Power Play option for an extra $1, which increases non-jackpot winnings by up to 10 times, depending on the draw.
To play, participants select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls and one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
Drawings are held three times a week — every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. The jackpot starts at $20 million and continues to grow when there’s no top prize winner.
The next Powerball drawing will take place on Monday, and with the jackpot now at $546 million, many are eager to see if anyone finally hits it big.
While Powerball’s jackpot is climbing quickly, Mega Millions is also on the rise. Its grand prize now stands at $50 million.
The last Mega Millions drawing also did not have a jackpot winner, but several players took home smaller cash prizes.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Tickets also cost $2 per play, and players can add the Megaplier for an extra dollar to boost non-jackpot winnings.
With both jackpots rising, this week brings double the excitement for lottery players.
Powerball’s $546 million prize and Mega Millions’ $50 million jackpot are reminding players why these games continue to capture attention across the country.
Even if winning the jackpot is rare, smaller prizes are claimed in almost every draw. For many, the fun lies in checking the numbers and imagining what they would do if luck were on their side.

Talisman Reveals “Seekers of the Talisman” NFT Series Ahead of $SEEK Token Launch – The Defiant

[Buenos Aires, November 16, 2025] – At sub0 Symbiosis 2025, Polkadot’s flagship developer conference, Talisman announced the launch of “Seekers of the Talisman,” a limited-edition NFT collection that blends mythic art, community ownership, and on-chain utility. The series marks the next step in Talisman’s mission to evolve into a community-owned wallet and sets the stage for the upcoming $SEEK Token Generation Event (TGE).
Building on the principles outlined in Talisman’s “Road to Community Ownership,” the $SEEK TGE will place nearly half of the total token supply into the hands of users, ensuring that the future of the wallet is governed collectively by its community. The Seeker NFTs extend this premise, offering holders early access, shared value, and participation in what Talisman describes as the emerging collective intelligence of its ecosystem.
“Seekers aren’t just collectibles, they’re credentials,” said Zerobit, CEO of Talisman. “They unlock access, amplify rewards, and symbolize the shared intelligence that will power the next phase of the Talisman wallet.”
The Seeker collection features 500 unique profile-picture-style NFTs across ten archetypes, ranging from Solarians (guardians between light and chaos), to Lunaris, (creatures of the night), and Mechanites (entities forged from gears and logic). A select set of whitelist slots will be distributed through AMAs, community giveaways, and social campaigns. The mint opens in the final week of November, and artwork will be revealed after the $SEEK token event.
Each NFT will carry progressive utility revealed through story-driven “chapters” of Talisman’s lore. The first chapter will grant airdrop multipliers for holders, with future updates offering additional benefits such as early access to new agent features, boosted yields, and other wallet benefits.
Alongside the NFT announcement, Talisman unveiled a sneak peak at its upcoming mobile app for Android and iOS. The app will allow users to view and manage multichain portfolios across EVM, Solana, Bittensor, and Substrate networks; stake and earn yield across protocols with one-tap actions; and receive in-app DeFAI insights powered by Talisman’s forthcoming AI agent infrastructure.
Both the NFT collection and the $SEEK TGE serve as preludes to a new phase in Talisman’s development, a transition from a multichain wallet into a decentralized finance-AI (DeFAI) gateway where users, agents, and the community collectively guide the evolution of the product. Through these initiatives, Talisman continues its path toward true community ownership and collective intelligence.

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it’s investigating the financials of Elon Musk’s pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, ‘The A Word’, which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. One lucky ticket-holder could bag the biggest lottery win ever if they scoop the top prize in Friday’s record EuroMillions draw.
The jackpot is an estimated £202 million and would be the largest ever prize, National Lottery operator Allwyn said.
The potential Friday night winner would top the ranks of the biggest EuroMillions wins by UK players, including the anonymous UK ticket-holder who scooped the existing record jackpot of £195 million on July 19 2022.
Just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, won a then record-breaking £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on May 10 2022.
The UK’s third biggest win came after an anonymous ticket-holder scooped the £177 million jackpot in the draw on November 26 last year.
No-one won the £182 million EuroMillions jackpot on Tuesday, meaning the top prize rolls over into Friday’s draw.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, said: “This Friday night promises to be a massive one for EuroMillions players, as the country’s biggest ever winner could be made.
“Get your tickets early as there is an astounding estimated jackpot of £202 million up for grabs. A single UK winner of this jaw-dropping prize would be crowned The National Lottery’s biggest winner of all time.
“This colossal amount of money would make any lucky ticket-holder richer than some of the UK’s biggest and richest names, such as Harry Styles, Adele and Harry Kane.”
It would be the third UK EuroMillions jackpot this year, after one ticket-holder came forward for their £83 million prize in January, and another scooped a £65 million jackpot last month.

Bingo & Beyond brings prizes to downtown Taunton holiday shopping – Taunton Daily Gazette

The Downtown Taunton Foundation and Taunton Business Improvement District have launched Bingo & Beyond: A Downtown Holiday Adventure, a seven-week celebration running through Nov. 30.
The event encourages residents and visitors to explore, shop and celebrate downtown Taunton’s small businesses, according to a community announcement.
More than 20 local businesses are participating. Shoppers can pick up a Bingo card and complete tasks by visiting shops, galleries, restaurants and service providers. Each completed row, column or full card earns entries for weekly prizes of gift cards.
A grand prize raffle winner will be selected Dec. 3. The grand prize is a $400 Downtown Prize Pack featuring goods and gift cards from the downtown business community. The prize pack will be on display at Trescott Street Gallery starting Oct. 22.
“Every purchase made downtown helps strengthen our local economy and keeps our community vibrant,” Colleen Simmons, Downtown Taunton Foundation & BID executive director, said in the announcement. “Bingo & Beyond makes it fun and rewarding for people to discover new businesses and support the ones they already love.”
The event kicked off Oct. 11. Weekly winners will be drawn on Thursdays, Oct. 23, 30, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27. A video post revealing the weekly winner will be posted on the Downtown Taunton Foundation’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
A Sip, Shop & Stroll event is planned for Oct. 23. Businesses will offer special promotions, refreshments and surprises throughout the night.
Small Business Saturday is Nov. 29. The day will feature live music, a fire pit and s’mores station, strolling carolers, a downtown scavenger hunt and hourly raffle prize drawings.
The last day for Bingo is Nov. 30. Completed cards must be turned in by the end of the day to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.
“Bingo & Beyond adds a little friendly competition and a lot of fun to holiday shopping,” Mayor Shaunna O’Connell said in the announcement. “It’s a great way for people to get out, enjoy our downtown and make memories while supporting local businesses.”
Bingo & Beyond is an expansion of Downtown Taunton’s annual Small Business Saturday Celebration, leading up to the City of Taunton’s Lights On Festival in early December.

Bingo Bash to benefit SVC Wraps for Kids – Saint Vincent College

LATROBE, PA — A Bingo Bash event to benefit Saint Vincent College Wraps for Kids is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9, in the Fred M. Rogers Center on the SVC campus.
A joint effort between the Saint Vincent College Education Department and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region, SVC Wraps for Kids has for over a decade provided presents, joy and hope to more than 2,100 local kids.
To raise funding for the initiative, SVC Wraps for Kids partners will host what they hope will become an annual Bingo Bash at the Rogers Center in early November. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the games begin at 2 p.m. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age.
Tickets can be purchased online and include 10 regular games with six faces each, a bingo dauber and a buffet lunch. There will be opportunities to participate in special games, raffles, strip tickets and 50/50, and a cash bar will also be available. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the event for additional purchases.
SVC education students traditionally hold fundraisers and collect donations throughout the year to support SVC Wraps for Kids. These efforts culminate each year on the first Saturday in December when more than 100 education students and faculty go shopping to fulfill the children’s wish lists and hold a gift-wrapping party in the Environmental Learning Barn at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve.
In addition to gifts of toys and clothing, each child receives a stuffed stocking, a tin of popcorn, an ornament and a tote of toiletries for their family. Organizers expect to support more than 120 children this year.
“As an education department, we want our future teachers to understand their role in the lives of children, understanding that all children are not blessed with the things they need, and surely not with all they want,” said Dr. Kathleen Beining, who spearheads the project. Beining serves as an assistant professor of education in SVC’s School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
“We feel it is important that pre-service teachers realize they can make a difference for children by giving of themselves,” she added. “Christmas morning is that much more special knowing we came together to provide joy and hope for so many local families.”
Those who are unable to attend the event but wish to support the cause are invited to send cash or check gifts to:
Saint Vincent College
Attn: Education Department
300 Fraser Purchase Road
Latrobe, PA 15650
Please make checks out to SVC Wraps for Kids.
