Nordstrom Rack Project Breaks Ground At Popular MA Shopping Center DLC Management broke ground at the 27,000-square-foot space between the Aldi grocery store and La-Z-Boy at Colony Place in Plymouth. Nordstrom Rack will join a retail roster at Colony Place that includes Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ulta, J.Crew, Talbots and DSW. Large Garage Fire In Northborough Under Investigation Firefighters responded to a fire at the garage at 14000 Avalon Way on Sunday afternoon after receiving reports from nearby residents hearing explosions from the garage used by Avalon’s Maintenance Division, which contained equipment, building materials and other things considered flammable. The Northborough Fire Department said it took about 50 minutes to get the blaze under control. The Leominster resident chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $2 million before taxes. Tiny Alligator Spotted On Video In Boston’s Charles River Has Been Found Safe Hanson Animal Control Officer Joe Kenney rescued the small reptile from the river. The alligator now known as Charles could not be released into the wild as it was reportedly a domesticated pet that was left behind. Kenney now plans to add the alligator to his “Crazzy Critters” educational reptile show. MassHousing Gains National Award For Momentum Fund The agency received The National Council of State Housing Agencies’ award for Rental Housing: Encouraging New Construction and Promoting Preservation with the Agency’s entry, The Future Is Now: MassHousing’s Momentum Fund. While it wasn’t the big jackpot, a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $100,000 hit during Friday night’s Mega Million drawing in Western PA. The ticket that matched four of the five white balls drawn, 1, 8, 11, 12, 57 and the yellow Mega Ball 7 to win the $100,000 prize was sold at Kristyak’s Korner on North Main Street in Sandy Lake Boro, Mercer County. Winners should sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Lottery to begin the claiming process. The big jackpot, worth $983 million, hit in Georgia. It’s the eight-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history. Even if you didn’t win the $100,000 prize in Mercer County, the PA Lottery says over 51,400 other ticket worth various amounts were sold across Pennsylvania. The Mega Millions jackpot has reset to $50 million for the next drawing on Tuesday.
