Mega Millions numbers for Friday, November 14, 2025: Ticket sold in Georgia wins jackpot – Detroit Free Press

Mega Millions winning numbers are in for the Friday, Nov. 14 drawing with a jackpot that reached an estimated $980 million ($452.2 million cash option).
The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing are: 1, 8, 11, 12, and 57. The Mega Ball is 7.
A ticket sold in Newnan, Georgia won the Mega Millions jackpot. A ticket sold in Michigan matched the five white balls and had a 3X multiplier to win $3 million. It was sold at a Marathon gas station located at 4421 W. Centre Ave. in Portage.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday, Nov. 18. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
In Michigan, in-store and online ticket sales are available until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
Mega Millions costs $5 to play.
Player can pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers — five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Mall). Players can also select the Easy Pick/Quick pick option.
Mega Millions retired its Megaplier feature and now has a built-in multiplier that increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. The multiplier is automatically included and randomly assigned for every play at the time of purchase.
The odds of matching the five white balls and Mega Ball to win the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
You can watch Mega Millions drawing on YouTube. The winning numbers are also posted to the Mega Millions website and on the Michigan Lottery website.
A jackpot winner has the option of taking an annuity or cash payment.
The annuity is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, according to the Mega Millions website. Each payment is 5% bigger than the previous one.
“This helps protect winners’ lifestyle and purchasing power in periods of inflation,” according to the Mega Millions website.
The cash option is a one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.
If two or more people win the jackpot in the same drawing, the money is shared equally among all winning tickets.

Mega Millions Winner: Here's Who Won The $980 Million Jackpot – KFBK

Photo: Getty Images North America
A single ticket sold in Georgia matched all six numbers during the estimated $980 million Mega Millions drawing on Friday (November 14), according to MegaMillions.com.
The Mega Millions jackpot will reset to $50 million for Tuesday’s (November 18) drawing. Results from Friday’s Mega Millions game are listed below:
NUMBERS: 1-8-11-12-57
GOLD BALL: 7
Friday’s drawing was the eighth-highest Mega Millions jackpot in the game’s history and the 14th-largest in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions jackpot previously reset after a single ticket sold in Virginia matched all six numbers during the estimated $348 million Mega Millions drawing on June 27, according to MegaMillions.com.
A player in New Jersey won the $1.13 billion drawing on March 26, 2024, which was the fifth largest in the game’s history and the eighth largest in U.S. history. The jackpot reset four times in January 2023, which included one player in Maine winning the estimated $1.35 billion drawing on January 14, one player in New York winning the following $20 million drawing on January 17, one player in Massachusetts winning the $31 million drawing on January 24 and another player in Massachusetts winning the $31 million drawing on January 31.
The January 14, 2023 Mega Millions drawing was the second-highest in the game’s history and offered the fourth-largest jackpot in the U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions tickets rose from $2 to $5 prior to the April 8 drawing and officials said the increased revenue will improve a player’s odds of winning the jackpot from 1 in 303 million to 1 in 290 million, which will lead to more sales.
“People really want big jackpots,” said Joshua Johnston, the Washington state lottery director for the Mega Millions game, via the New York Post. “We expect to see a sales lift on this.”
Higher ticket prices would allow the jackpot to start at $50 million, rather than the $20 million it resets to after a jackpot hits during the last prior drawing, while the next jackpot would swell even larger if there isn’t a big winner. Additionally, the minimum prize of $10 on a winning ticket will double given the rise in cost for a ticket, according to lottery officials.
Lottery players will reportedly have a 1 in 23 chance to win any prize, an improvement from the 1 in 24 odds prior to the price change, officials confirmed to the New York Post. Mega Millions has only previously changed its price one time since its launch in 2002.

Bitcoin Price Dips $13K in Days: Could It Fall Further to $74K? – CoinCentral

Bitcoin (BTC) price recently took a dramatic downturn, dropping $13,000 in just three days. The crash has raised questions about whether the cryptocurrency has reached its lowest point. Analysts are divided, with some suggesting Bitcoin may have bottomed at $94,000. However, others warn that further declines may be in store.
The price drop sent Bitcoin to multi-month lows, leaving many wondering about the next move. Some analysts believe the $94,000 mark could signal the bottom for the Bitcoin price. However, this view is not unanimous, with others suggesting a possible further drop to $74,000.
Merlijn The Trader, a prominent analyst, has been vocal about the potential for another leg down. He pointed to a CME gap around $92,000. “CME gaps are often filled, even weeks or months later,” Merlijn commented. This gap could result in a further retracement before Bitcoin price finds support.
BITCOIN LOVES TO FILL THE GAPS.
$97K: DONE.
$92K: NEXT?
Final shakeouts are brutal.
But once they’re done…

Merlijn’s analysis also highlighted the importance of Wyckoff’s market cycle in understanding Bitcoin’s behavior. He noted that the “Phase E” of the Wyckoff pattern has been confirmed, which could signal the end of the shakeout phase. “This is where smart money quietly reloads while retail screams for lower prices,” he added.
The recent drop in Bitcoin reserves on exchanges supports this theory. Bitcoin reserves have reached a new all-time low, a signal that supply is decreasing. Merlijn referred to this as a “perfect storm brewing,” suggesting that Bitcoin price may soon find upward momentum.
Despite Bitcoin’s volatility, many remain confident in its potential for future rallies. The cryptocurrency market remains unpredictable, with frequent sharp price movements. Analysts will continue to monitor Bitcoin price movements closely as the situation develops.

Cork Lotto player scoops nearly €300k as winning shop named – Cork Beo

A lucky Lottery player in Cork has woken up almost €300,000 richer this morning – a nice way to celebrate the lifting of a 24-hour weather warning.
The player matched five numbers and a lucky star in Friday's EuroMillions draw, winning a prize worth €294,048. The Quick Pick ticket was purchased earlier that day from Sweeney’s Daybreak, Kiltegan Park in Rochestown. The winning numbers in last night’s (Friday, November 14) EuroMillions draw were: 9, 26, 27, 45, 48 and the Lucky Stars were 8 and 9.
While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth €122,611,491, over 55,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games – including the Rebel winner. The Cork player is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prize.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “A EuroMillions player in Cork is certain to be celebrating today after matching five numbers and one lucky star in Friday night’s main EuroMillions draw to win an incredible €294,048. While over 55,000 players won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, the Cork player earned themselves the title as the biggest winner of the night in Ireland. Today, we are encouraging all our players in Cork to check their tickets very carefully and to contact our Prize Claims team as soon as possible.”
It follows a big €405,000 win in Waterford last week – though the winner didn't know about it for a couple of days before checking the ticket locked in his car over the weekend. On that occasion the ticket was purchased from Mulhearns Foodstore in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. The winner explained: “I heard the news breaking the following day.
"But after leaving the ticket in my car over the weekend, I didn’t check it until Sunday evening. I had to scan the ticket three times to believe what I was seeing – ‘You’ve Won Big!’ I couldn’t stop smiling for hours. I was so delighted!” He added that he's planning a big Christmas celebration to mark the win.
