Did anyone win last night's Powerball? Winning numbers for Dec. 3, 2025 – The Columbus Dispatch

The eighth-largest Powerball jackpot in the history of the popular multi-state lottery was up for grabs during Wednesday night’s drawing.
The Dec. 3, 2025, Powerball jackpot was $775 million. That meant some lucky ticket holder could have won a $362.5 million cash prize if they chose a one-time payout.
To win Powerball, players have to buy a ticket matching all five numbers and the Powerball — the odds of winning were 1 in 292,201,338 — and can choose a one-time cash payout.
See below for the winning numbers for the Dec. 3 Powerball drawing to see if you got the lucky ticket.
The winning numbers in the Dec. 3 drawing were 1, 14, 20, 46, 51 and the Powerball was 26. The  Power Play was 3X.
There was no winner of the big Powerball jackpot.
One Match 5 + Power Play ticket holder in Kentucky won $2 million. Match 5 winners in California and Florida each took home $1 million prizes.
The next Powerball drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. The prize now stands at $820 million with a cash value of $383.5 million.
Powerball drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and are streamed live on the Powerball website.
Check to see if you won through the Ohio Lottery or Powerball website.
The Powerball is available in 45 states, including Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, as well as in Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tickets are available for purchase at gas stations, convenience stores and grocery stores across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Sales cut-off times often vary by one to two hours before the drawing, depending on where you’re buying your tickets.
You can also purchase tickets in Ohio through the Ohio Lottery website at www.ohiolottery.com.
A Powerball ticket costs $2 per play. Players can pay an extra $1 to add the Power Play for a chance to multiply all Powerball winnings, except for the jackpot. You can also add a Double Play for an additional $1 to have a second chance at winning $10 million.
Powerball costs $2 per play. In states like Idaho and Montana, it’s bundled with Power Play for a minimum purchase price of $3 per play.
Players can pick five numbers (or you can have them chosen randomly) between 1 and 69 for the white balls, then select one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball.
The “Power Play” multiplier can multiply winnings by: 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.
The Powerball jackpot continues to grow until someone wins. Players win a prize by matching one of nine ways to win. Players can only win the full jackpot by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.
Jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize as an annuity, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum payment. Both advertised prize options are before state, local, and/or federal taxes.
None of the biggest Powerball winners bought their tickets in Ohio. Here are the Top 10 Powerball jackpots in the history of the game as of Sept. 3, 2025:
Five winning Powerball tickets have been sold in Ohio, according to powerball.net, an independent website that tracks and aggregates Powerball data.
Those five winners rank Ohio 31st out of Powerball’s 48 operating areas. Roughly 1.2% of all jackpot winners have been from Ohio.
Meanwhile, Ohio’s neighbor, Indiana, has had 39 jackpot winners, or 9.3% of the total. That’s even though Ohio is the seventh most populous state, and Indiana is 17th.
Here is every time an Ohioan has won the jackpot, according to Powerball.net.

Dolphins-Jets Preview – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) Tua Tagovailoa is heading to New York looking to keep the Miami Dolphins‘ late-season surge going – with a bit of perfection on the line.
The sixth-year quarterback is 6-0 against the Jets as a starter, including the Dolphins’ 27-21 victory in Miami in Week 4. He’s 7-0 overall in games in which he has played against New York – including his NFL debut in 2020, when he replaced starter Ryan Fitzpatrick late in a win over the Jets.
But another opponent has proven even tougher for Tagovailoa: cold weather.
When the Dolphins (5-7) take on the Jets (3-9) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, he’ll try to improve on his 0-7 career mark when the temperature at kickoff is 46 degrees or colder, according to the Palm Beach Post. The forecast calls for a high of 41, so Tagovailoa and the offense will need to warm up early.
“First things first, it’s going to be cold,” Tagovailoa said. “You kind of have that on the top of your mind. Outside of that, it’s a mentality, it’s a mindset. This is what we get paid to do – to play football, regardless of if it’s raining, it’s snowing, it’s sleeting, it’s hot, it’s cold. Regardless, we’ve got to go out there and play and do our jobs.”
Tagovailoa has two late-November victories on the road against the Jets in his career, but the temperatures were 54 degrees (in 2021) and 48 (in 2023) at kickoff in those games.
“Yeah, when you win, those are always great memories,” the quarterback said. “But this is a new year, new team, both sides of the ball. This is just all new. You’re not guaranteed a win because you won ‘X’ amount of times or whatnot. Got to go out there and we’ve got to prove it every time we go there.”
Things have changed even since the first time the then-struggling teams squared off in Week 4. The Dolphins, who fired general manager Chris Grier on Oct. 31, have won three straight and four of their past five after opening the season 1-6 – Miami’s worst start under coach Mike McDaniel.
Meanwhile, the Jets opened 0-7 under first-year coach Aaron Glenn, but have won three of their past five to add a sense of optimism to what will be the 15th straight year without the playoffs if New York loses Sunday.
“I’m not happy about the record at all,” Glenn said, ”but I am happy about the way that we’re trending in certain areas.”
The decline in Miami’s efficiency in the passing game is in part tied to Tagovailoa’s struggles.
He completed 12 of 23 passes for 157 yards against New Orleans last week and currently has the worst passer rating (85.9) of his career.
He missed several targets and threw an interception on a ball he floated into double coverage, which he noted was a poor decision. Tagovailoa has pointed to his footwork and lack of conviction in his throws as issues that need to be improved.
“Just bringing my feet with my eyes,” he said, “because I could be faced this way and I’m just bringing my eyes. I can’t really throw it like that.”
The Jets still have no interceptions this season, an NFL record for a team through its first 12 games.
It’s a statistical oddity that has become a frequent topic of conversation among the players and coaches in defensive meetings.
“It’s really puzzling, it really is,” Glenn said. “But, listen, we’re not going to hang our heads. We’re going to continue to fight to try to see if we can get them.”
The fewest for an entire season is two by San Francisco in 16 games in 2018. The team’s most recent interception was by Ashtyn Davis, who had two in last season’s finale against Miami. Davis can’t help this year: He’s now on the Dolphins.
Linebacker Jordyn Brooks is quietly having one of the best defensive seasons in Dolphins history.
He leads the NFL with 137 total tackles – 22 more than Washington’s Bobby Wagner – and is one of two players in the league with at least 100 tackles, multiple sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
“Absolute stud,” Miami defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver said. “I hope he starts to get some of the credit he deserves. He’s one of the top two, three linebackers in the league, and I wish we had more wins so that the rest of the world would see that.”
Brooks has 280 tackles since joining the Dolphins last season, the second most by a player in his first two seasons with the team since 1994 when solo tackles began to be recorded. Only Hall of Famer Zach Thomas has more.
When Tyrod Taylor replaced Justin Fields as the Jets’ starting quarterback, many assumed New York’s offense would miss Fields’ ability to make plays with his legs.
Well, the 36-year-old Taylor is keeping the ground game rolling. He ran for 44 yards and a touchdown on eight carries against Atlanta. One of his runs was a 14-yard scramble to jumpstart the winning drive – showing he still has good mobility.
“Oh, I heard that on the sideline when I came to the sideline,” Taylor said with a laugh. “I told them, ‘Not too much now, not too much.’”

Mega Millions – Single Ticket Wins $90 Million Tuesday Night – 97.3 The Dawg

(Baton Rouge) Something tells me the folks in Baton Rouge are getting used to writing checks for more than a million dollars at a time with the signing of the new football coach and all. And while Lane Kiffin may have won the coaching lottery, we have actual Louisiana Lottery news about a $90 million Mega Millions win.
Mega Millions is one of two multi-state lottery games available for players in Louisiana. The other game is Powerball, which has a larger jackpot right now.

The Powerball jackpot, which will be drawn tonight, is estimated to be $775 million. That is the estimate for the annuitized jackpot. The cash payout on a Powerball win this evening will get you $362.5 million before the taxman visits you.
READ MORE: Louisiana Lottery Confirms $3.9 Million Lotto Winner Sold in State
READ MORE: Powerball Ticket Misses Massive Jackpot by Just One Number
Meanwhile, Mega Millions is just coming off a major jackpot win of $983 million. That jackpot was won in the November 14th drawing. The winning ticket in that Mega Millions game was sold in Georgia. It was the 5th jackpot generated by Mega Millions in 2025 and was the game's largest jackpot since Mega Millions tweaked its format back in April.
If you did not see the Mega Millions drawing for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, here is how that played out.
In the last "episode" of Mega Millions it took 40 drawings to find a jackpot winner. In the case of last night's big win, only five drawings had elapsed between the $983 million win of November 14th and last night's $90 million win.
Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery have confirmed that a Mega Millions jackpot winner was sold for Tuesday's drawing. Here are the numbers from last night if you wanted to review your ticket.
17   25   26   53   60   Mega Ball 16
As someone who has studied the lottery and lottery drawings for more than a decade now, I can tell you Tuesday's winning numbers were unique as far as jackpot wins go. I can't recall any jackpot win in the last five years, at least, maybe more, where the winning ticket didn't have a single-digit number in the winning scenario.
Granted, last night's win proves that it can be done; we just haven't seen it done in quite a while. By the way, the big $90 million winner was sold in New Jersey. We had that information confirmed by the Louisiana Lottery and by our sources at Mega Millions.
In perusing the winner's data shared from the Louisiana Lottery offices in Baton Rouge, it looks like the largest prize won by a Louisiana-sold ticket for Tuesday's Mega Millions game was a $1,500 winner. There was also a $1,000 winner. In each case, the ticket matched four of the five white balls; one ticket had a multiplier of two, the other had a multiplier of three.
Tonight there will be drawings for Powerball, Lotto, and Easy 5 in Louisiana. Please remember that lottery games do involve a risk of losing money. If you have a gambling problem, help is available by calling 1-877-770-STOP (7867). The call and the referrals to counseling are offered at no charge to you or your family. Good Luck.
