4 NJ Lottery Winners Bought Tickets On Same Lucky Street – Patch

Thank you to our Local Business Sponsor:
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — After someone won a $90 million jackpot Tuesday with a lottery ticket bought in Hudson County, the NJ Lottery noted that several other winners had bought their tickets on the same street.
A player who bought a Mega Millions ticket in the Hudson County town of Union City matched six numbers on Tuesday night to take home the jackpot.
The ticket was purchased at Garden State News, on 4024 Bergenline Ave. in Union City.
“The Bergenline,” as some affectionately call it, runs through the three most densely populated cities in the country, which have among the highest populations of Cuban immigrants. Two of the towns are also considered among the poorest in the state.
According to NJ Lottery, which held a press conference at the shop on Tuesday, nine lottery players have won prizes this year in Union City.
Of those nine, four bought tickets in shops on Bergenline Avenue, which runs through Union City, West New York, North Bergen, and Guttenberg. Besides the jackpot, those prizes ranged from $10,000 to $260,000, said a spokesperson.
The winning numbers on Tuesday were 17, 25, 26, 53 and 60. The gold Mega Ball was 16.
Garden State News will receive a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, said lottery spokesperson Michael Boone on Wednesday.
“I just found out this morning at 6:30 that we had a winner,” said Krish Patel, the store owner since 2014, at a lottery press conference on Wednesday. “It’s great for the player, for us and the community.”
The NJ lottery has not revealed information about the winner yet.
“I’m so happy for Union City and Bergenline,” said Union City Council member Maryuri Martinetti, who attended the news conference with fellow council member Celin Valdivia. They noted that former State Sen. and Union City Mayor William Musto was one of the New Jersey Lottery’s founders.
“Hudson County has had more than 50 winners of prizes of at least $10K” in 2025, said Boone. “So that means the Bergenline street in Union City accounts for nearly 20 percent.”
How did one street get so lucky?
“You can safely credit that to population density along with blind luck,” Boone told Patch. “Also, keep in mind that while this is one (very long) street, all the retailers are unique, except for the 7-Eleven, which has had two.”

Gratiot Co. Man wins $250k from Michigan Lottery – WNEM

GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich. (WNEM) – A Gratiot Co. man is now $250,000 richer after finding out that his KENO! prize ticket was a winner.
The lucky winner, who chooses to remain anonymous, matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn to win the game’s $250,000 top prize, the Michigan Lottery said.
“I have been playing KENO! every day for years, but this specific set of numbers I started playing about six months ago,” said the winner.
The ticket was bought at the Meijer gas station in Alma located on 7420 North Alger Road.
“I checked my ticket by scanning it at a lucky spot scanner and got a message to file a claim, which I’d never seen before. My wife looked up the winning numbers, which is when I found out I’d won $250,000,” the winner said. “Winning a large lottery prize like this is a wild feeling, but also a huge blessing!”

How much is the Powerball jackpot? What to know before next drawing. – USA Today

After no one won the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, Dec. 3, the grand prize has once again shot up.
The jackpot rose to an estimated $820 million after the drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 3, with a cash value of $383.5 million, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot is the eighth-highest jackpot in the game’s history.
The next drawing, on Saturday, Dec. 6, could determine whether someone takes home the massive prize or if it continues to grow.
The latest jackpot comes just months after the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history, which was an estimated $1.787 billion, was won by two tickets sold in Montana and Texas on Sept. 6.
As of Thursday, Dec. 4, the Powerball jackpot sits at a whopping $820 million.
The next drawing will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, just after 11 p.m. ET.
To play the Powerball, you have to buy a ticket for $2. You can do this at a variety of locations, including your local convenience store, gas station, or even grocery store. In some states, Powerball tickets can be bought online.
Once you have your ticket, you need to pick six numbers. Five of them will be white balls with numbers from 1 to 69. The red Powerball ranges from 1 to 26. People can also add a “Power Play” for $1, which increases the winning for all non-jackpot prizes.
The “Power Play” multiplier can multiply winnings by: 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.
If you are feeling unlucky or want the computer to do the work for you, the “Quick Pick” option is available, where computer-generated numbers will be printed on a Powerball ticket. To win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.
Powerball drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. If no one wins the jackpot, the cash prize will keep ticking up.
Tickets can be purchased in person at gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Some airport terminals may also sell lottery tickets.
You can also order tickets online throughJackpocket, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network, in these U.S. states and territories: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. Jets' Will McDonald: Full participant Thursday – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
McDonald (ankle) was a full participant in practice Friday.
McDonald’s upgrade to full participation cleared him of injury designation, and he is set to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. The starting defensive end is set to log a third consecutive week with at least 70 percent defensive snap share, though he may have to pull some extra weight if fellow defensive lineman Jermaine Johnson (ankle) cannot suit up for Sunday’s divisional clash.

The Pennsylvania Lottery has launched CASH POP™, a new Draw Game designed to offer players a fun and fast way to win.
How do you play the CASH POP™ game? Pick a favorite POP number between 1 and 15, match it to what’s drawn, and you win! Players can also choose the Quick Pick option when playing. One number is drawn, four times a day:
Players can play $1, $2, $5, $10, or $20 per POP. Your favorite POP number could result in a prize between $5 and $5,000, depending on the amount played. More details on game odds and wagers are available on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website.
“The CASH POP™ game is designed to appeal to both new and experienced players who enjoy quick, exciting gameplay,” said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. “We’re excited to introduce this dynamic game that provides multiple ways to win with every drawing.”
The CASH POP™ game can be played at any Lottery retailer. Winning numbers may be viewed on palottery.com or players can check the Pennsylvania Lottery Official App to see if their number has “popped.”
Pennsylvania is the 17th lottery to bring the CASH POP™ game into the market.
“When you play, Pennsylvania seniors win. All proceeds from Lottery games such as the new CASH POP™ Draw Game go to help pay for life-sustaining services that help our older population with meals, transportation, prescription assistance and a host of other programs,” added Svitko.
