Lottery players have the chance to win big as two major jackpots continue to grow.
The Mega Millions currently sits at $965 million, with the next drawing set for Nov. 14. The Powerball is up to $512 million, with the next drawing set to occur Nov. 12.
Both drawings are to take place at 11 p.m.
Lottery tickets can be purchased at a variety of locations, including most local convenience stores, gas stations or grocery stores.
In some states, tickets can be bought online.
New Jersey residents have the option to order tickets through Jackpocket, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network.
The Jackpocket app allows you to pick your lottery game and numbers, place your order, see your ticket and collect your winnings all using your phone or home computer.
On your Mega Millions ticket, you’re to pick six numbers. Five are to be white balls with numbers ranging from 1 through 70, and one is to be the gold Mega Ball with a number between 1 and 24.
For example, the winning numbers from the draw Nov. 11 were: 10, 13, 40, 42, 46 and, from the Mega Ball, 1.
If you don’t feel like picking your own numbers, you can opt for a quick pick, or easy pick, where the computer randomly generates numbers for you.
Mega Millions tickets now include built-in multipliers, which increase non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times.
On your Powerball ticket, you’re to pick six numbers. Five are to be white balls with numbers ranging from 1 through 69, and one is to be the red Powerball with a number between 1 and 26.
The winning numbers from the latest Powerball drawing on Nov. 10 were: 6, 28, 44, 48, 58 and, the Powerball number, 23.
If you don’t feel like picking numbers, there’s a quick pick option that lets the computer generate numbers for you.
To win the jackpot, players are to match all five white ball numbers in any order and the red Powerball.
There is an optional Power Play that can be added to increase the winning for all non-jackpot prizes.
Power Play multiplier can increase winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times.
