LANSING — An Osceola County educator known for her dedication to students and innovative teaching methods has been honored with an Excellence in Education award from the Michigan Lottery.
The award winner, Liz Younglove, is a K-5 Literacy Coach at Pine River Area Elementary School. The school is part of Pine River Area Schools.
The Michigan Lottery established the Excellence in Education awards in 2014 to recognize outstanding public-school educators across the state during the school year.
Winners of the weekly award receive a $2,000 cash prize. At the end of the school year, one of the weekly award winners will be selected to receive the Lottery’s Educator of the Year award and will receive a $10,000 cash prize.
“Ms. Younglove’s commitment to fostering learning in her students with an innovative and compassionate approach makes her an ideal candidate for the Excellence in Education award,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli.
“Her calming presence and hands-on activities create unforgettable learning experiences for her students.”
Younglove said she always wanted to work with children but volunteer work steered her to a career in education.
“I come from a family of people that all work with children and when I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to work with children in some way. My dad and brothers all worked in kids’ ministry and my mom and sisters all worked in public education, but I wasn’t sure what that would look like for me. After volunteering for different organizations like Special Olympics in college I decided to follow my mom and sisters and get an education degree.”
Younglove was nominated for the award by her principal.
Younglove earned a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University. She has been an educator for six years and started a new role this school year.

Powerball Winner: South Carolina Lottery Results for Nov. 8, 2025 – Zoom Bangla News

The South Carolina Education Lottery has officially announced the Powerball results for Saturday, November 8, 2025. Players across the state eagerly checked their tickets to see if they were the lucky Powerball winner of the latest multimillion-dollar jackpot draw.
The winning numbers drawn on November 8 were 03, 53, 60, 62, 68 with the Powerball number 11 and a Power Play multiplier of 2x. As of Sunday morning, officials confirmed that no jackpot-winning ticket was sold in South Carolina, but several players secured smaller-tier prizes.
While no one claimed the top Powerball jackpot in South Carolina, there were multiple smaller wins across the state. Players are encouraged to check all prize levels, as Powerball offers nine ways to win. Even matching one number and the Powerball can bring in smaller cash prizes.
In addition to the Powerball results, the South Carolina Education Lottery released results for several other games from the same date:
Pick 3 Plus FIREBALL
Midday: 7-9-7, Fireball: 1
Evening: 5-1-9, Fireball: 8
Pick 4 Plus FIREBALL
Midday: 4-6-3-9, Fireball: 1
Evening: 5-5-4-3, Fireball: 8
Cash Pop
Midday: 14
Evening: 06
Palmetto Cash 5
Winning numbers: 13-23-34-35-38
Powerball Double Play
Winning numbers: 16-18-20-54-59, Powerball: 06
These daily and weekly draws provide South Carolina residents with multiple chances to win, from modest payouts to life-changing jackpots. Officials continue to advise players to verify their tickets and claim any prizes within the valid claim window.
Winners of prizes up to $500 can redeem their winnings directly at any authorized South Carolina Education Lottery retailer. For prizes between $501 and $100,000, tickets must be mailed to the lottery’s claims center with a completed claim form and valid identification. Prizes over $100,000 must be claimed in person at the Lottery Headquarters in Columbia.
Mail claims to:
South Carolina Education Lottery
P.O. Box 11039, Columbia, SC 29211-1039
In-person claims:
1303 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the draw date. For large winnings, players can opt for an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for secure direct deposit.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. ET. The jackpot is expected to grow after no grand prize winner was declared in the latest draw. Powerball drawings occur three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
Other lottery schedules include:
The South Carolina Education Lottery continues to remind players to play responsibly and to treat lottery participation as entertainment, not investment.
While the Powerball winner for South Carolina remains unclaimed, smaller prizes have already brightened the weekend for many across the state. Players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully — your numbers might be among the winners.
The winning numbers were 03, 53, 60, 62, 68 with Powerball 11 and Power Play 2x.
No jackpot-winning ticket was sold in South Carolina for the Nov. 8 drawing, but smaller prizes were awarded.
All draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the drawing date.
The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. ET.

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Mega Millions jackpot is climbing toward a jaw-dropping milestone — nearly $1 billion — after no tickets matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing.
That means the $900 million prize remains unclaimed and will roll over to the next drawing on Tuesday, making it the eighth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.
The last winning jackpot ticket was sold back on June 27th, meaning the prize has been growing for months.
Players can buy tickets at participating retailers until just before Tuesday’s drawing — but remember, the odds of winning the grand prize are about 1 in 302 million.
