The cash option now sits at $371.7 million before the next drawing.

It continues to be the ninth-largest jackpot that the Mega Millions has ever seen.
For Mega Millions players, the next chance to win the jackpot will be this Friday, November 7.
This drawing will bring an estimated jackpot of $843 million, with a cash option of $391.7 million according to the website.
The jackpot previously reached highs of $714 million last month.

A similar jackpot drought hit the Powerball lottery this year, when it reached a staggering $1.7 billion.
The Powerball jackpot was eventually split between a player in Missouri and a player in Texas.
Recent Mega Millions lottery winners include Deborah Sexton in North Carolina, who clinched $2 million in August.
Sexton recalled her shock when she heard the news.
She said: “I was like, ‘How can this be happening to me?’.
 “It was overwhelming. I was just like, ‘This can’t be.’”
Lottery winners need to decide whether to take a big jackpot as a lump sum or as annuity payments.

Sexton took home $1,435,001 after she paid all of the required state and income taxes on her winnings.
In another instance, a $1 million Mega Millions ticket was found in the state of New Jersey in December last year.
But the winning couple didn’t realize that they had won until five months later, in May 2025.
They had a whole year to come forward from the date the numbers were drawn, according to New Jersey lottery rules.

The alleged middleman cooperating in the police investigation into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia is believed to have run a major illegal lottery worth millions.
Melvin Theuma, 41, was described by police sources as having a “complicated” criminal resumé. Sources said that investigators found more than €2 million in cash stashed away at his house. 
He is being held in a secure location under heavy police supervision, as investigators interview him on his knowledge of the plot to assassinate the journalist.
Sources say he has substantial hard evidence in the form of audio recordings and text messages to back up his testimony which is now in the possession of the police, who are analysing it together with experts from Europol.  
On Monday, sources said Mr Theuma had secured a presidential pardon in exchange for evidence concerning the Caruana Galizia case. 
But how did he get here?
Mr Theuma is said to moonlight as a taxi driver at the Portomaso complex, which belongs to Yorgen Fenech. He had at one time acted as the businessman’s personal go-for.
Police swooped in on him on November 14 as part of an anti-money laundering investigation that has been simmering away for months. 
Sources privy to this investigation described it a crackdown on Malta’s “parallel lotto” – complete with tickets, in which pundits stood a chance of winning major cash. 
The lotto is pegged to the national one, with players placing bets on a string of numbers and waiting for the national lotto winning numbers to be announced at the end of every week.
Police have singled out a number of other individuals as part of that investigation.

Shortly after his arrest, Mr Theuma, who was not part of the original group of 10 men arrested last year in connection with the Caruana Galizia murder plot, offered police a trade: information and evidence on the alleged mastermind, for immunity from all prosecution.
Sources involved in the investigation had first mentioned Mr Theuma’s name to Times of Malta several months ago, saying they had a plan to get him into custody and lift evidence he was believed to be holding.
He is providing information on Mr Fenech, who has been identified as a “person of interest” by the team investigating the car bomb assassination of Ms Caruana Galizia.
He also has information on other players involved, according to the sources.
Investigators said there was a long string of cases that Mr Theuma could turn State witness on, and this was part of the reason why he was being held in a secure location under heavy police protection as part of his debriefing.
The Prime Minister last Friday said the police had not yet reached the stage where a pardon would be signed. 
Mr Theuma’s long-time lawyer is Matthew Brincat, the former chairman of the Malta Racing Club, who is representing him in negotiations with the police in his bid to get a presidential pardon. 
He is also being represented in his negotiations with authorities by Kathleen Grima, a Gozitan lawyer who had been the face of the hunters’ lobby when they successfully campaigned to retain the contentious spring hunting season in a 2015 referendum.

A EuroMillions player in Dublin is certain to be celebrating this morning following their top prize win in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The Tuesday night player scooped their €500,000 prize after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on Wednesday, October 29, at Donnybrook Fair on Morehampton Road in Donnybrook, Dublin. The winning numbers in the Tuesday, November 4, EuroMillions Plus draw were: 05, 09, 14, 39, 42.
The National Lottery has urged EuroMillions players in Dublin to carefully check their tickets today as one person now has a ticket worth an incredible €500,000.
The top prize winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr appealed to players to check their tickets following a week of big wins for players in Dublin: "It’s been a memorable few days for National Lottery players in Dublin and the week isn’t over yet.

"Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw saw a player in Donnybrook scoop the €500,000 top prize earning themselves the title of 29th EuroMillions Plus top prize winner of the year to date.
"Today we are urging all of our EuroMillions players who purchased their ticket for Tuesday night’s draw in Donnybrook Fair on Morehampton Road, to check their tickets carefully. There is a player out there with a ticket worth an incredible €500,000.
"The winner should sign the back of their ticket and contact our prize claims team who will make arrangements for our newest top prize winner to visit Lottery Headquarters."
Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the €85,169,986 jackpot on offer in last night’s draw, Friday’s jackpot is now set to soar to an estimated €100 million.
