
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Powerball jackpot topped $600 million after no one won Wednesday’s drawing.
The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing grew to $629 million with a cash value of $294.5 million.
While no one won the big prize, one lottery player in New Jersey won a $1 million Match 5 prize.
Overall, the odds of winning the big prize are 1 in 292.2 million.
Powerball is not played in Alabama since lotteries are illegal in the state. It is played in 45 states, including all the states that border Alabama.
