Two lottery players from Massachusetts each won $50,000 during Monday night’s Powerball drawing — including one who bought their winning ticket at a Market Basket grocery store.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 1 drawing were 5, 18, 26, 47, 59 and Powerball: 1. The PowerPlay was a 3x.
Both tickets sold in Massachusetts that won $50,000 matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number.
One of the winning tickets was sold at the Point Liquors store in Quincy, while the other was sold at the Market Basket grocery store in Methuen.
There were no Powerball jackpot winners on Monday night, rolling the prize to an estimated $775 million with a cash value of $362.5 million.
The next jackpot drawing will be held on Wednesday. Tickets cost $2 to play.
