Two men arrested in connection with lotto booth hold-ups – The Malta Independent Online

Two men have been arrested by the police in connection to two lotto booth robberies that took place earlier this week.
The robberies took place within hours of each other in Birkirkara and Burmarrad.
The police said on Friday that a Serbian man who lives in Mosta and a Syrian man who lives in St Paul’s Bay.
The van that was allegedly used in the robberies was found parked outside a St Paul’s Bay residence, the police said. 
The suspects are being held at Police HQ in Floriana while investigations and a magisterial inquiry continue.
