The winning numbers for today’s Lotto draw have been announced, with Brits having had the chance to win a life-changing £3.9 million after no player scooped Wednesday’s £2m prize. This draw comes just a week after a £15million jackpot was snatched, in what was the biggest Lotto prize of the year.
Ticket holders also had the chance to win the Thunderball draw, which offers a top prize of £500,000. The National Lottery provides Brits with multiple chances a week to strike it lucky, with draws scheduled at 8pm every Wednesday and Saturday.

Thirty-nine players each won £1,750 after matching five of the six main numbers.
In Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, no one matched all five numbers to win the £350,000 top prize.
Two players matched four of five numbers to win £13,000.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 7, 10, 17, 21, 30, and the Thunderball was 5.
Two ticket-holders each scooped a £500,000 jackpot by matching all five numbers and the Thunderball while five players matched the five main numbers to win £5,000.
Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is expected to reach an estimated £5.2 million after no one managed to claim Saturday’s top prize.
While no ticket-holders matched all six main numbers to secure the jackpot, three lucky players did match five numbers plus the bonus ball, each walking away with £1 million.
We are still waiting for the official prize breakdowns from Saturday’s “Must Be Won” Lotto and Thunderball draws, which will outline exactly how the prize money has been distributed across the different winning tiers.

The prize details are as follows:
– 6 Main numbers – Jackpot; Shared equally if there are multiple winners.
– 5 Main + Bonus Ball – £1 million
– 5 Main numbers – £1,750
– 4 Main numbers – £140
– 3 Main numbers – £30
– 2 Main Numbers – Free Lucky Dip; Entered into a future draw.
To play the UK Lotto, you select six numbers from 1 to 59, with draws held every Wednesday and Saturday.
Each line of numbers costs £2.00, and you can play a single draw or choose to enter your numbers for several weeks in advance.
Players may submit multiple lines at once, with up to seven lines per slip and 10 slips at a time.
In each draw, six main numbers and one Bonus Ball are chosen at random, and prizes are awarded for matching at least two main numbers.
