The big prize had been growing since it was last won in Virginia on June 27 after four jackpot wins in the first six months of 2025. The jackpot is reset at an estimated $50 million or $23.2 million cash for the Tuesday, Nov. 18 drawing.
This was longest streak ‒ 40 drawings without a jackpot winner – since the game began in 2002. The previous record of 37 drawings was set January 22, 2021, when a $1.050 billion jackpot was won in Michigan.

One ticket, sold in Georgia, won the jackpot in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing Nov. 14. One ticket purchased in Michigan matched five white balls with a 3X multiplier to win $3 million.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot won on a single ticket is a $1.602 billion prize won in Florida on Aug. 8.
